Allow placing a sequence from another project as a link
We can now place links to other Premiere projects as well as links to After Effects compositions. What is really missing is the ability to do the same for Premiere sequences. This is not the same as importing a sequence since that merges the other project with the current project and the sequence won't update if the external project is changed.

Simple: just don't allow recursive linking. If a recursive link is detected then don't process it and raise a warning (not using a dialog, though, that would just be irritating).

Thanks for the idea Andreas. We are actively looking into ways to further improve our cross project workflows. We are working to make it more seamless to to work across multiple projects and using the Shared Projects workflow.
However when it comes to sequences in Proj A really living in, say, Proj B and live updating that presents a number of challenges. For example, since we allow sequence nesting you could get in a very long loop of Seq A inside Seq B inside Seq C inside Seq D etc, all in separate project files. What happens if one of those is not open?
I can't make a promise, but we will keep this in consideration as we move forward with the Shared Projects improvements we are working on.
