USB Type C Dock crashes
My MacBook Pro only has USB Type C connectors so I have a Alogic Tripe display docking station - ALOGIC Triple Display UNIVERSAL Hybrid Docking Station – USB-C & USB 3.0 with 4K and Power Delivery - (https://www.alogic.co/alogic-triple-display-universal-hybrid-docking-station-usb-c-usb-3-0-with-4k-and-power-delivery.html)
I run CC 2018 - then opened my 2017 project, assets came up in bottom left and conversion started but everything else black and spinning coloured disc, tried this about 6 different times and waited up to 10 minutes, no go.
Disconnected my USB Type C dock, so now only MacBook screen. Opened CC 2018, opened 2017 project, loaded and converted in seconds. Had to change audio hardware output. Then plugged in USB Type C dock and Premiere pro moved to big screen. Changed audio and all working. Project converted and works, just needs a re-render.
Close premiere pro.
Open on big screen, open converted CC 2018 project, black screen and spinning colour disc.
So my only work around is to open the project on my laptop screen when my USB Type C dock is disconnected, then reconnect the dock and it will then move to big screen.
If I don't do this then I have to force kill and my project file becomes corrupt, thus recover at startup again..
Any idea what is going on here?
