Default import bin
Currently if you created a nest sequence or "replace with after effects comp" or important a sequence from abother project and then get all its assets with it, all these new assets are placed in the root of the main project. It would be nice if you could set a bin as the default location ofr any auto imported or created assets. With a large project you constantly have to clean up all these files and it would be far cleaner and easier to stay on top of it they went in one bin which you could routinely go through and sort the assets.

100% agree!
BTW, this is one of the many things the plugin Excalibur can do (https://knightsoftheeditingtable.com/excalibur). When creating a nest, it automatically places the nest inside the "Nested Clips" Bin it automatically creates. Even if you rename or move the Bin, it still places nests inside that Bin!
Unfortunately, being a 3rd party plugin, it can't create 'Smart' Bins for all media types. Only for some.

yes. actually, in addition to that, it would be nice if you could right click a bin and "import from previous folder".
if I have a complicated project with different assets on different drives, this would save a ton of time. If I want to import music to my music bin, I don't want to drill down to find the folder with my music every random time I need music. it's fine to have the default import be the last folder used in the project, but the option for last folder used in association to this bin would be great. I think I just used way too many words to describe a simple idea!
