Organize multicam synchronized clips by camera name or number
Would be great to have the ability for the "Create Multicam Source Sequence" function to be able to place all clips from a single camera on a single track (either by bin, camera metadata, etc.).
Currently, multicam sync places each clip on its own track - multicam sequences with many clips can become unmanageable with too high of a track count.

Yes, would great and needed. We basically need the options for when syncing with time-code to be applied to syncing with audio.

Or add ‘cam serial#’ or ‘1st x characters of clipname’ to EXISTING ‘cam label/cam angle’ option when creating multi-cam.
Agree that it is a pain to modify cam label currently too

TaranVH,
That is exactly the functionality I'm looking for, but it seems it only works with Timecode sync. I am requesting this feature for Audio waveform sync as well. -

You guys don't know about Track Assignments > Camera Label?
It's a huge pain to use, BTW, since you have to fill out every single field manually (no way to do batches, sometimes even WITH the Metadata panel) but it does at least... kind of... work.
This request seems to be redundant with this one:

This would be great since I frequently use audio sync to assemble 2+ hour long performances with multiple camera start/stops. (Which Premiere does great with syncing, btw.) But it often takes a few minutes of prepping the timeline for editing since every clip ends up on a different track.

This is a very much needed feature.
