Select all clips with similar source in timeline
Imagine you're working on a music video with 40+ layers of video and want to copy the Lumetri Effect you've applied to one clip to all of the clips with the same source in the timeline. In stead of having to walk through the timeline tediously selecting each clip individually, it would be an enormous time-saver to be able to select all off the clips at once and paste the Lumetri effect.
In the timeline, the context menu of a single clip should have an additional option to select all the clips in the same timeline with a similar source. This allows to do tons of other similar actions to clips scattered across the timeline using the same source, such as: Audio Gaining, applying and removing effects, etc.

This stems from Premiere's fundamental failure to distinguish clips from timeline events.
In a properly designed editing system:
1. The things in the bin are clips; they're references to files on disk.
2. The things in the timeline are events; they refer to clips. Then, applying effects to an entire shot is easy: You just apply them to the clip, instead of to timeline events. Any time you change the effects on the clip, all the timeline events that refer to the clip will show the result... automatically.
So really, the enhancement to ask for is a proper clip/event relationship. But since this relationship is fundamental to the internal workings of the program and its storage format... it seems that it was blown at the beginning and there's little hope of a re-architecting now.

You can also use Edit > Select All Matching for this.
