Spell Check

This request is so self explanatory, the OP only wrote a title without any further explanation! lol
Spell check would certainly be a nice addition to Pr! With the new captioning tools coming out in version 15.0 (currently in beta), it would make a great addition to those tools as well!
One important thing to mention is that users should have access to all languages, not just the language their version of Pr is in. I do videos in 4 different languages that I speak and I've even done a few videos in some languages I don't(with the help of native speakers, of course, but even they can miss spelling mistakes).

I think it would be so helpful to add a spell-check to Premiere. So many times the only issue with a video is 1 spelling error and it's such a pain when you've already rendered the video then you have to go back, make the change and render it again. Obviously the spelling falls on the editor, but sometimes it's just a simple mistake that would be easily fixed if there was spell-check.

I'm not sure how this is even up for debate with the development team. It's a no brainer!

9 million users times $240 for annual subscription = $2.2 billion a year and yet no spell-check?

To be honest it's actually unbelievable that Adobe's developers cannot add a simple grammar/spell check to premiere pro. The company I work for has to hire 1 person full-time to do this when really it shouldn't be that way. Kindly add this to Premiere or the whole Creative suite in general.

It's 2020 and the most popular NLE in the world doesn't have basic spell check.

To all of you who were saying just do it in a word processor and copy and paste, that’s all fine until someone asks for changes and you have to go into the type tool and start changing stuff. The lack of a simple way to check spelling really is a pain in the butt. I’ve also found that copying and pasting with keyboard shortcuts control C and control V, can be really finicky in the essential graphics text tool. At least on my keyboard. I often end up with an extra X or V in my text, and I have no idea how this is happening.

I could NOT second this request. Not only would this unnecessarily bloat the program, but it would divert time and resources from much more important areas requiring attention.
Just type your text up in any on/offline word processor and copy-paste it into your text layer. -

Why do we need to.vote?
Seems like we shouldn't have to vote.
If we are voting against features like morph cut and content aware fill and other useless tools, then the problem is worse than I think.
The beer offer still stands though. 12 cases, hand delivered to Fremont.
No bs. Just do it already. :)
