When sequence is loaded in source monitor. View timeline and cut source clips of that sequence.
When I load a sequence into the source monitor. I'd like to be able to hit a button so that I can quickly see that sequence's timeline. Also, when I mark In and Out points of that sequence and cut it into another sequence. I'd like it to cut the actual source footage into the timeline. Not "sequence clips".

I have set shift+o to open sequence in source then shift+o to display that sequence in the timeline. Have to arrange the pancake the first time.
Three annoyances:
1. Shift+o displays only if the source sequence is not already displayed. Should switch to that tab if already open.
2. There's no shortcut for 'close other panels in group' (needed if you extensively use selects sequences)
3. If the source sequence display is closed, it is unloaded from the source monitor. Can't see the logic in that. -

So I have found the button where you can cut in the source clips thanks to some coworkers. I'm still looking for a key I could hit so that I can toggle between what is in the source monitor and the current sequence. Thanks!
