Show creation date information for sequences created.
Include a creation date for sequences. Could this be a column in the metadata display?
Alex Warren commented
I am able to do this with Premiere 15.2.0

Avid Media Composer did this, back before the turn of the century... Ouch! :=)

Pat, this feature looks like it's been requested for the last decade accross many many posts. It's unfortunate that they're not combined.
The nature of the importance of this incredibly basic functionality makes it's lack of inclusion a complete mystery, which I think is why people are so perplexed.
Also, if you worked in software development, you would know how easy this is to implement. They already have a way to pull metadata, they already have a way to add custom columns and sort by them.
Also many other adobe products already allow this.

Just a guess, but maybe you aren't getting a response because:
1. The rest of us put date stamps in the sequence name because it is more visible, takes up less metadata column space, is always visible everywhere, and sorts by default.
2. This thread is part of the forum with a form for making feature requests. Here's the root: https://www.adobe.com/products/wishform.html. The process is to submit a request and wait. Unless you're an EP with a major production house, telling Adobe they "suck" or threatening to cancel you subscription is not going to move your request up in the queue.
3. I've worked in software development and I can tell you that there are thousands of feature requests in the list all the time (currently 9021) and over 9 million Premiere users. 54 people demanding that their pet feature be implemented doesn't mean much, if anything. You have to remember that you represent .000006 of the installed base.
4. As an editor, don't you just hate it when a director or client asks you to make a change and tells you it won't take very long? How is that different than a customer demanding that Adobe implements a feature and says "it should be very easy"?

I Can actually, seriously not even believe that this is not possible in Premiere. This is absolute basic and fundamental functionality!

ADOBE WHAT ARE YOU DOING ABOUT THIS ...IAM RIGHT NOW TRYING TO WORK OUT WHAT DATE I CREATED A SEQUENCE COMPARED TO ANOTHER. OTHER SOFTWARE CAN DO IT....WHY NOT YOU??? I AM READY TO MOVE TO RESOLVE CUTTING!

I want this in my display and searchable- Please give me date created and date modified!
for 2 years of begging - no ONE answer from Adobe?!
Please include both "Creation Date" and "Last Modified Date" for sequence metadata!!!
No other program except Pr could see ANY metadata about sequence

Please include both "Creation Date" and "Last Modified Date" for sequence metadata. Could it really be THAT difficult?
Scott Thomas commented
Just needed to find an old sequence created before a certain date and I cannot do it. Are Adobe listening to... oh right.
Michael Hoerner commented
Adobe sucks! I don't even think they're human, just a bunch of AI sitting around making programs and never ever working on them, then never taking the advice of the people WHO ACTUALLY WORK on the applications for a living!!!
Make a button to turn off sort so that each time you dupe a sequence it's just at the top...LIKE AVID!
every other media has this data - only Sequence dosn't (((
hard to understand WHY NOT?
how many years already ADOBE don't listen his clients?
Laura Porter commented
Pretty, pretty please... Shocking that it doesn't exist already!
Dan Powers commented
Pretty please Adobe? I think this would dovetail nicely into the colored coded timeline tabs.
lauren grover commented
come on adobe - this is not that hard to implement surely?? even if you can't do a modified date, creation would be so helpful - go on - you can do it!!
André Fonseca commented
PLEASE! - This would be so helpful.

Please try to address this. I can't stress how many times I open projects created by my coworkers and get lost as to which sequence is the most recent. And it's a basic feature that doesn't seem to take much coding to do.
Jim Ford commented
Good to know that I am not the only editor who has searched, and could not find, this simplest of meta data info! Certainly does seem like a "no brainer" to see when a sequence was created and last modified.
Tom Miller commented
As far as I can tell, I see no way to see even when I last worked on a sequence (modification date.) I am in a doc project with many sequences and many versions, and to be able to sort by most frequently worked on seems like a pretty basic function! I tried even sequence settings and I can't see a modification date, or any date for that matter.
