Duplicate sequence + automatically iterate number
It would be great if you could duplicate a sequence using a shortcut, and that duplicate would iterate the name to the next number (or just append with an _1 if there's no number).
e.g. Sequencev1 dulicated becomes Sequencev2
AfterEffects already does this perfectly, would be great if premiere could too

I'd also love for it to go ahead and open the iterated sequence. Just a little salt to season the request.

The best way I think after is duplicated the sequence automatically is highlighted the name of the new sequence ready to write the new sequence name

Greetings Fellow editors,
I developed new extension: EXCALIBUR. It has "Duplicate and Increment" command. It will duplicate active sequence and increment version number. Old version will be moved to "Archived Sequences" bin.
And you can assign shortcut to this command. But it does much more than that, learn more here:

Hello colleagues! We have created an extension for true duplication of sequences "Duplicate It!", and it's create unique copies of all items included the sequence. There are convenient naming settings.

YES! Or at least make it an optional thing we can activate. I version my sequences often and I always have to go back and delete "Copy 01" then give it a proper number. No editor worth their salt keeps the "Copy 01" as part of the sequence name.
