Audio Auto ducking - Extra options for beginning and end.
In the real world, ducking is used more subtle when the speech starts.
And afterwards the time is longer.
Let me explain the most usefull situation:
I wish I could set the moment that the music is lower level.
I mean: 0.5 sec AFTER the speech has started it has to be at the low level to have a nice smooth transition/fade.
The face can be 1.2 seconds in total or so.
So the fade starts 0.7 sec before the speech and ends 0.5 AFTER the speech starts.
This gives a more natural way of music fade.
I'm sure a setting for setting this automatic manually can be implemented.
The moment the music needs to go up could also be set according to the end time of the speech.
So please implement a setting for MOMENT-THE-FADE-ENDS (at beginning of speech) and MOMENT-THE-FADE-STARTS (for end of the speech).
End fade at start ducking: 0.5 sec (after speech starts)
Start time of fade of end duck: 0.5 sec (before speech ends)
Hope this is clear and we can make the function more usable for reditors in the real world.
This is in the latest Premiere Beta release. Premiere Pro Beta 22.5.0 Build 31.

I would also love the ability to determine when the fade starts and ends offset fron when the speach starts and ends - and it really does need the ability to have bezier curves applied to the keyframes to give a smoother sound to the audio transitions - the linear transition is really quite bad and doesn't lead to a professional sound at all.

Was going to submit a request just like this. The ducking feature is nice but at the moment i have to nudge the fades around because they start too early and end too late. Thanks!

Maybe also with curves like auto ease / exponential fade
