fix the anomaly where multiple tabs of the same project are open in the project pane
Why does my project panel have the same project opened multiple times? I've closed the project (and the multiple references to that project all close), but when I open the project later, there they are again, multiple references to the same project.

For me this error was self induced! Without steps, I'd just like to offer this:
If you set FE.AllowMultipleOpenProjects = false, that is how I can duplicate the multiple project tabs of the same project in it. Just shortcut from another panel to the project with the shift-1 key and each time you do you get duplicate. Turning that options back to the default (true/unchecked) removes this for me.

me too, I'm working on a tv series and have to open any number of different episodes in a day, some of them are now up to 20 panels each, I also need multiple episodes open at the same time, so this is a real arseache☺

I have the same problem. It keeps growing - on it has 24 project panels that open of the same project and I have to close 23 of them each time. PLEASE HELP Adobe
