Have a remove disabled clips option in the sequence.
It would be great if there was a option to delete all clips in a sequence that are disabled.
Working in film trailer marketing we edit offline material with watermarks and have to prep/clean up a lot of sequences before delivering to the studio finishing house where they have the clean footage and export the finals.
Assistant Editors have to clean up the sequences and organize the audio by dialogue, sfx, and music. A lot of the times there are a bunch of old sfx or dialogue lines that are still in the sequence but not being used.
It would be fantastic if we could just remove all of those clips that are not needed with one click.

Adding "disabled clips" to the search in timeline function would be great. That way you can find all and delete from there.

delete disabled clips option in the sequence would save me hours of work.. why can't this be an option

this would save HOURS of work for me!! just do it adobe.
me and my coworkers edit in multiple tracks, with multiple cameras. enabling and disabling clips is the best way for selecting cameras. once the editing is done, we have to delete all disabled video and audios clips for future pos production workflows (generating XML and OMFs for exemple). imagine have to delete 2/3 of your timeline -

Even better would be a few more menu options or shortcuts like this:
Delete all disabled video and audio clips
Select all disabled video and audio clips
Select all disabled video clips
Select all disabled audio clipsOnce selected, you could then choose to change the label color, or delete them, or enable them. More options: more better!

PLEASE I NEED THIS FOR EDITING MUSIC VIDEOS. I have to have different options ready for the director and so it makes my timelines really tall, but saves SO much time in the long run. Want to see a different take for a certain line in a song? done, except I have to go through and collapse and delete all the disabled files to export, otherwise it takes a few hours to get a 3min video outputted
