Support for ProRes RAW
Support for Apple's newest codec, ProRes RAW and ProRes RAW HQ

Hello ProRes RAW community,
as of today, you can start using ProRes RAW in Premiere Pro 14.2 (public release).
Thanks to the large group of people from this thread that helped us during the last couple of weeks in putting finishing touches on the implementation through our beta program.
More info on 14.2 is available from:

Cheers,

Are there any updates ? This gets really frustrating and could be the final reason to move to fcp :(

Last staff comment back in April? Whats going on here? Can we please get some sort of update? Very frustrating having bought in to the EVA/Shogun and not being able to use the most powerful feature...

Grant Patty, Rohde & Schwarz and others
have made agreements with APPLE so there is support here.
You have to take money in hand, and talk to Apple.
If you do not, that means money for nothing for ADOBE's tenant. -

As a Windows user, I seriously doubt a support for Prores on win machines due to Apple's copyright (or what is may be called) on it. Hopefully at least on Apple machines Adobe will support it!

Adobe converted a bunch of folks to Premiere when FCP lagged, don't give them the opportunity to switch back. Support ProRes RAW!

Why is this even being looked into still, this is a must and should be in place already.

I got my FS5 mark2 in yesterday and I'm going to record some test footage today, ProRes Raw out to my Inferno. Looks like I'll have to take the footage home over the weekend and download the latest FCP X 30 day demo to my Hackintosh to test this codec until support is added to Pr.

Adobe - If you take away support for ProRes 422 & ect.. then you have to replace that with the new ProRes Raw! I mean that is the only logical thing to do. If you are out with the old, then You should be in with the new!?
I don't think there needs to be a vote to see if its needed, but instead - "Just Do It" Winners don't Stop until its Done!
