Support for ProRes RAW
Support for Apple's newest codec, ProRes RAW and ProRes RAW HQ

Hello ProRes RAW community,
as of today, you can start using ProRes RAW in Premiere Pro 14.2 (public release).
Thanks to the large group of people from this thread that helped us during the last couple of weeks in putting finishing touches on the implementation through our beta program.
More info on 14.2 is available from:

Cheers,
Patrick

Yeah this guy is just trolling.

It appears the exclamation point a the end of the link that I pasted is treated as part of the sentence by this forum instead of part of the link. Re-add that "!" after clicking on the link. I haven't yet tested the claimed new feature, but the list is right there. No trolling, I promise.

that link says nothing about prores raw no matter if you clear everything after .html or not

Wondering if you're trolling us... I don't see anything at all about Pro Res RAW
-

I don't see that either way I look at that link.

See it here: https://www.adobe.com/products/premiere/features.html?mv=product&mv2=accc#!
Go to the "Expanded format support" section to read for yourself.
One interesting thing to note- if you remove the last part of link (everything after "html") the list changes to exclude "ProRes RAW". Maybe that's due to targeted marketing of what features appear in that preview list.

Patrick - thank you, it’s been 6 months since your response that Adobe is looking into supporting ProRes RAW ... where are you at/ what is the eta for support of ProRes RAW in Premiere PRO???

Adobe is probably waiting for getting the license and they are probably not allowed to say anything about the deal atomos made with apple before a certain timeschedule.... Without a broad support prores raw is doomed....

Yes I need it too, prores raw HQ natively supported in Premiere...

This is it.... "I understand blaming Apple but I do not understand why no one from Adobe has given us any information in 5 months?" Come on Patrick Palmer. Give the people something (please)!

Sort it out please...Ive to edit all my ProRes raw stuff on FCP now. I thought I was done with all this back and forth. I started on Premiere, then FCP7, then CS6 to CC and now I'm off back to FCP.
Will have to end my subscription in the coming months -

Haha Prores Raw is already dead. Apple deserves it.

Well, Blackmagic just release the same concept of apple prores RAW with much better compression options. I hope Adobe can provide the same compression options with their Cinema DNG codec.
Im tired of waiting for Prores Raw to be implemented in Davicni Resolve. -

Nick, isn't that obvious?
Apple wants to get more customers to use Final Cut Pro and therefore buy Macs. What better way to come up with a highly desirable codec that changes the way people shoot and edit their footage. Why would you make it easy for the competition to use use your codec and steer people away from your overpriced hardware? -

How about Apple just explain to your consumers of your computers why you won't let us use ProRes Raw on our preferred editing system.
