Support for ProRes RAW
Support for Apple's newest codec, ProRes RAW and ProRes RAW HQ

Hello ProRes RAW community,
as of today, you can start using ProRes RAW in Premiere Pro 14.2 (public release).
Thanks to the large group of people from this thread that helped us during the last couple of weeks in putting finishing touches on the implementation through our beta program.
More info on 14.2 is available from:

The Dutch website shows the same thing as the Danish. https://image.ibb.co/e67930/Schermafbeelding-2018-10-16-om-06-05-19.png

It's true. If you click on "what's new?" in your creative cloud app, it'll open the website. Scroll down and change the region to Danmark. You'll see Prores Raw.

Fair enough - In Denmark we pay almost double the price for Adobe Premiere CC2018 ;)

Here's a screenshot of the translated page: https://i.snag.gy/8sjq2f.jpg
Perhaps this means it's in the works but not ready for prime time.

Yup. Right there on the Danish page:
Extended format support
New support for original formats includes ProRes RAW, ARRI Alexa LF, Sony Venice v2 and HEIF (HEIC) image format used by iPhone 8 and iPhone X. -

Hey Guys, I just played around with the region settings in the bottom of the page and it appears that in some languages they included it in the notes and in some not...see that screenshot here https://ibb.co/m6K8wL

Sorry - cannot send a screenshot here but follow the link earlier. This the danish link https://www.adobe.com/dk/products/premiere/features.html?mv=product&mv2=accc

Can you screenshot the writing? While I am more interested in actually using the feature, I feel like I need just a little vindication and proof that I'm not trolling.
-
Bo Skelmose commented
I can see the writing - but not tested it yet.

I've just tried to import a clip. No go. I'm pretty flustered here.
I got the notification this morning that updates were ready, so I clicked the "What's new?" link under the Premiere update. As I casually read the list, the fist thing that popped out to me was ProRes Raw was listed as the first item under "Expanded format support". I figured they quietly slipped a fast one, so I came back to the same place that I originally complained about it, to let everyone know that they themselves listed it.

Soooo false alarm?
Someone test it out.

I literally just shot a clip in Pro-Res Raw and tried to import it into the updated premiere - It's still not supported

What?! It doesn't read for me either way now. I should've taken a screenshot. I have way better things to do than troll about this. However, I've updated Premiere, so I'll download a clip and test it myself. If there's a troll here, it's at Adobe.

I definitely don’t see anything about ProRes RAW in their release.
