Support for ProRes RAW
Support for Apple's newest codec, ProRes RAW and ProRes RAW HQ

Hello ProRes RAW community,
as of today, you can start using ProRes RAW in Premiere Pro 14.2 (public release).
Thanks to the large group of people from this thread that helped us during the last couple of weeks in putting finishing touches on the implementation through our beta program.
More info on 14.2 is available from:

Cheers,

I agree With the previous comments. It would be extremely helpful to have support for this codec ASAP

Sure, as long as it's support in Windows. Or how about you develop and market your own RAW codec for Premiere, given its nearly 3 decade existence and market dominance?

Is there an ETA with this? Almost needs to be a hotfix release as this codec is already being used in production.

an approximate time frame? We're happy you're looking into it and all, but I have a project coming up I'd like to shoot in ProRes RAW. I'd like to know whether it's something we'll be able to edit with in the near future (like in the next week to month) or whether it's going to take several months?

100% need this and asap.
This will save us so much time by removing the step of proxy creation. And a tip of the cap to Adobe because, while we all complain about all the issues that seemingly all new tools have had in the past, integrated proxy creation has been one of the best tools for a 'set it and forget it weekend post workflow'.

It has been too long that we have been without support for this industry standard codec in Adobe Premiere and After Effects.

@Joe Keck, what camera are you using?

It sucks because I can shoot prores Raw, but because I'm on windows I have no way of actually using it.

More cameras and recorders will support ProRes Raw.
So my guess is Adobe can't stay away from it or they will loose Premiere customers.
I know my customers want ProRes Raw, which is supported on our aerial cameras from end of May. -
