  1. Please provide support for Tentacle Sync audio timecode so that we can sync using embedded timecode without having to use XML applications.

Premiere Pro already provides audio synching and timecode in the multicam synching panel, but it does not provide support for embedded timecode tied to the audio channel such as what you find in Tentacle Sync. https://tentaclesync.com/

Please allow us to sync clips using tentacle sync timecode.

  2. Add Dynamic Linking to tools like Resolve

Lumetri is great and Colorista is a fab plugin for Premiere, but most professional Colorista use Resolve. If I could avoid a Resolve round trip (via render and/or XML) and instead be able to have Resolve open up like PS, AE, etc, then Premiere would gain major grading functionality. Secondaries and node-based grading are essential tools for Colorists and unless Lumetri is going to offer those functions, it won’t be a true professional grading competitor. Offering control surface compatibility was a great step tho!

The clip doesn’t have to open an internal Pr panel with Resolve functions, it just has…

  3. We need Tricaster Codecs (SpeedHQ) support in Premiere / After Effects!

As a TV Station using Tricaster 8000 for us it is a MUST to have TC Codecs running in Premiere / After Effects. Otherwise we need to go over to a new Software System without using Adobe.
Please check if it is possible to set SpeedHQ Codecs back again!
    Thanks in advance

  4. API for Keyframe Interpolation Easing

Currently, the only way to adjust keyframe interpolation easing in Premiere is by manually clicking and dragging the bezier handles.

It would be super helpful to have API access to Keyframe Interpolation Easing to allow 3rd party tools to develop a more precise way to control this like already exists in After Effects.

  7. Make the DJI phantom 4 codec compatible with Pro.

When I attempt to import files, I get an error message stating that there is no audio or video source.

  9. Open up Dynamic Link protocol to third party developers

Dynamic Link should have an API to let other software developers integrate their tools better to Adobe applications. This feature works so well because it is based on the concept of "frameserving", a proven IP network-based client-server model but adapted for a specific use operating in the local domain (under the same operating system).

If there was an API for third parties, theoretically, any aplication capable of rendering (or sending cached) image sequences at or near realtime could work as a server. Even applications not traditionally involved in film/video workflows could be plugged into this.

  11. Adding tracks crashes PP when control surface is added

As a Loupedeck user, I want to add tracks to timeline without causing Premiere to crash.

    Steps to reproduce:
Open Premiere Pro 14.6 or 14.7 on Win or Mac (bug is not reproduced with older versions)
    Add Loupedeck as control surface
Add a track (audio, submix or video) in the timeline sequence

    Expected result:
The track is added, Premiere Pro application is running

    Actual result:
The track is not added, Premiere Pro application hangs up

    Note:
The behavior is the same when adding tracks with mouse through the UI of Premiere (with LD added as control surface)
    Adding tracks works…

  14. Introduce a single, fully featured 'interchange' tool, to encompass all migration and archive features under one umbrella.

Understandably, Adobe work on making integration between their various software packages within the Adobe family as smooth functioning as possible and it works fairly well to this end. However, Premiere can be a real nightmare to work with when your intention is to use 3rd party software for parts of your post production process, or when you want to collaborate and have other creatives working on different aspects of project, even if they themselves may use Adobe products.

There are many separate reasons why this is problematic, but my request is a little more general and overarching. Premiere has a…

  15. Using a Wacom if finicky, please improve response

Trying to use a Wacom in maddening. The rubber band volume flicks around, and the sliders slider horrible fast.

I jump in from other programs, and it's clear that the Wacom integration could use some help. I have had the problem since adobe cc, but, premier is now my main program, so it is important. I'm willing to help out how ever possible.

  16. In MacOS Catalina, I can't select a clip in Premiere, and use "Edit Clip in Adobe Audition."

After updating to MacOS Catalina, I can no longer select a clip and click "Edit Clip in Adobe Audition." Audition opens, but the clips do not appear.

  17. Insta360 stitcher software creating massive problem with Premiere

Premiere has been hanging up, beach balling every 3 seconds, then recovering then crashing again. This sympton was on 2 of my MBPs and 2 of my imac pros. I unistalled the insta360 stitch software and the problems on all 4 macs disappeared. MBP's running 2018 verison and pros are running latest version (13.1) - So everytime I need to stitch VR video, I install the stitching software and then uninstall it when it is finished.

  18. Scripting: isPlaying API Variable

It would be really useful to have a variable on the app.activeSequnce object to see if the user is currently in playback. Some extensions have periodic background tasks that would stop or stall playback. Being able to tell if the user is actively playing the timeline would solve a lot of these issues.

  20. Comment markers on r3d clips made in Prelude don't show up in Premiere

I've made notes with markers in Prelude CC 2019 and when I go to Premiere CC 2019 to view the same clips with the markers, they are not showing up ('show clip markers' is turned on in my timeline settings). This workflow worked fine in CC 2018 but since the update to CC 2019 it's not working. So far it's only specific to r3d clips, other formats like mp4, mxd, etc., the markers made in Prelude do show up still in Premiere. Hopefully they're will be a fix with r3d files.
