Proxies not working Productions (Still)
PPro v 22.2.0; macOS 12.2.1 (Monterey).
Proxies are still (!) not behaving as proxies across clips / sequences / projects in a production.
Clips in timelines are accessing and trying to play original media. This is in spite of having proper proxies attached.
I've done the various dances with unlinking / relinking media and detaching / attaching proxies and dragging sequences into and out of projects.
The bug persists.
It was reported in April 2020 an labelled by Bruce Bullis (Adobe) as being "tracked" as DVAPR-4222990.
An update and fix would be appreciated.
Very frustrating.

BUG: Premiere 14.0.1 Playback preference changes after application restart
PP 14.0.1, OSX 10.14.6
Preferences/Playback/Audio Device - set this to Blackmagic playback.
All is good.
Leave project, restart Premiere and the Audio Device has changed to Adobe Desktop Audio.
The preference needs to not reset on application restart.
Note that this bug was in 14.0.0 but was not fixed in the 14.0.1 update. This bug has been independently verified on different Mac hardware.

[Bug] Premiere 14.0.2 STILL DOES NOT play back Photoshop files with animated timelines.
PSD files which contain animation data do not playback in the new playback engine whatsoever. This is across the board in all 2020 versions of Adobe software, including the latest update from today 14.0.2.
This is a MAJOR bug, and we will not be able to use the 2020 versions of the software until it is fixed.
1 voteWe’re pretty sure we’ve resolved this issue; let us know if you can still reproduce the problem, in current versions.

Prores bug on OSX using ExFat exernal drives
I found a bug on at least High Sierra and Mojave in all versions of Premiere Pro 13.x (2019), which happens when trying to edit prores files off an external hard drive. If the hard drive is formatted as ExFat, your timeline playback grinds virtually to a halt, and editing is impossible. As soon as the same project is copied to a drive formatted to MacOS Journalled, it plays normally.
