  1. Transformation handles, masks, etc. sometimes go missing from the Program Monitor

Double clicking on an object in the program monitor will often NOT select it and allow it to be moved around. Instead, any layer beneath that object will become selected in the timeline. (If you continue clicking, the timeline selection will continue to toggle between two different selections.)
In this bugged state, the transformation handles will not appear on the program monitor.
This also affects the 'crop' handles, masks, the corner pin tool, and the like.
I HAVE FOUND A WORKAROUND FOR THIS BUG:
Click into another sequence on the timeline. Then click back into your original sequence. Objects on…

  2. Media encoder queue sometimes fully crashes my Mac

This is a super random problem! I can't pinpoint the exact cause.

Sometimes I will leave the office and make a queue for AME to work on overnight.

For instance I'll have 150 clips being rendered into proxies in the queue as well as an H264 2 pass export of the work I did that day.

I would say 6/10 times my computer has crashed when I get back to the office the next day. And when I say "crashed" I don't mean I get a dialogue box that says " [...] has encountered a serious error [...]". I'm talking…

  3. Fix hanging on closing projects, cancelling preview rendering, cancelling locating media

On Mac High Sierra, Premiere hangs or crashes almost every time I close a project, cancel rendering previews, or cancel locating media.

  4. BUG - Export crashing when rendering with same codec (Prores) if a linked AE composition is present in the timeline.

The linked composition can be wherever in the timeline.
On export, the first clip that matches the same codec as the output setting codec crashes the render. The only way to guarantee completion is to use an output codec that is not present in the timeline. Removing all linked AE composition from timeline clears the problem.

    Crash report:
    Export Error
    Error compiling movie.

  10. Adobe premiere pro cc2018 conflicts with Microsoft Pinyin input method

Adobe premiere pro cc2018 conflicts with Microsoft Pinyin input method in Chinese simplified.
I am using the Windows 10 operating system, using the system default input method. sometimes open a premiere project, then double click media pool to import media, or create a new old title etc. Premiere immediately did not respond, must be forced to close.
The solution is to use the other input method, and delete the system default input method.
please software developer to check this bug, I am very sure that there is a conflict between premiere and Windows 10 default input method.

  12. Bug Report: Hardware Accelerated Performance works maybe 40% of the time.

Cutting in Adobe Premiere 2018 12.1.2 using an iMac Pro 10 core, 128Gb ram, vega 64 16Gb.

You get an option for Hardeare Accelerated Encoding but limited to VBR 1 pass. It can be really fast (if it works) but I have found that it causes my entire system to shut down mid export and sometimes losing a lot of my progress on my timeline. I may run a few tests and record my screen to attach as proof.

  15. Bug: "Render Entire Work Area" causes Premiere to crash

After updating to 12.1, Premiere will randomly crash when rendering the work area. I am fairly certain this is a software bug. The Rendering Window stops showing progress, and Premiere becomes unresponsive, however the progress bar in the Mac dock (where the icon is located) indicates that the program continues to render. Additionally, new render files are created in the Premiere render folder. Premiere hangs once the render reaches 99%~ and I must force quit the program. I am reporting this bug, because there is no option to send the crash report natively within Premiere. This bug occurs fairly often…

  17. Fix the bug: .MTS files import without audio - May 2018

    I'm using Prem Pro 12.1.1 Build 10
    On a iMac Retina 4K 21.5 2017: 3GHz i5 : 16GB RAM

When I import .mts files some - yes, only some - import WITHOUT audio.
The files worked fine before I upgraded to 12.1.1 B10 but now I'm unable to complete a n umber of projects.
I CANNOT go back to previous version of PP as it has been selected in the upgrade.
This has been a problem with PP for some LONG time now as far as I can make out from web posts.
    I am paying Adobe for a product…

  18. Fix Media browser not remembering column layout

Until v12.1.1, when you saved a project, all Media browser layouts were retained upon reopening. Now when I reopen a project, all bins are closed, and all columns have reverted to default position.

  19. Replace Footage issue

When using the 'replace footage' function, most of the time, Premiere will either
1: not replace the footage (without notice)
2: turn the dialog box grey and hide it behind PP, without replacing
3: crash with a 'serious error'
4: replace the footage (sometimes it works, but often not more than 1 time)
This has been a problem already for some versions now...

  20. BUG: Switching from List View to Thumbnail View causes Premiere to crash on some bins.

On some bins, when switching from list view to Thumbnail view it causes Premiere to crash. It is intermittent but if you force close Premiere and reopen it, the issue stays. Meaning that if you have a certain bin that's problematic, it still remains problematic even after a force quit.
