  1. Bulk remove invites from multiple team projects

    Hello,
We run an edit house that processes at least 100 edits per month. We don't create them, we are invited to most of these projects. Our team project list quickly becomes huge and of you have too many can cause all sorts of issues. There is only an option to remove us one by one from each project. Would be awesome to select multiple projects in the team projects list and have the option to bulk remove us from them.

  3. Ingest Footage Copied From other open Projects

When I have multiple projects open, and I copy/paste footage from one project's timeline into another's, the footage should INGEST into the second project so that it can live within that project's file structure. This could be an option in the Ingest panel which would simply be a check box that says something like: Ingest Footage Copied From Other Projects.

  4. [BUG] Premiere Pro Locks Up on Save As... 13.1.1 Build 11

On Adobe Premiere Pro 2019, 13.1.1 Build 11, the following issue occurred:

I clicked File --> Save As... --> and the window that was supposed to pop up as a file browser to save the project did not appear. I attempted to restart windows explorer to see if this would help. It didn't.

I was unable to save and forced to close Premiere Pro, losing 43 minutes of editing time.

The behavior was as if the window were open but invisible and inaccessible. I couldn't Alt-Tab to it. The Premiere Pro GUI was present but locked and made the typical…

  5. P2P File Transfer/Syncing without Cloud Storage

When using Team Projects in Premiere Pro it is often a pain in the butt to keep files synchronized on both editors machines.

For instance, say both editors start with the same basic footage and begin to collaborate on a team project and then one of them decides to make a Title using a font the other editor doesn't have. Or perhaps they photoshop an image that now the other editor doesn't have. Or they pull from a stock library and add that footage to the project, stock footage the other person now doesn't have.

    Even just getting started on…

  6. Bug PP 13.0.3: Fix searching through Subclips

With the new update, whenever I try to search through all of my subclips using a keyword I've created, the results list doesn't show all of the tagged subclips. For example, in the top right corner, it will say "20 items" were found but it will actually only display 5 of my subclips instead of all 20.

  7. Team Project Version History

Collaborators need to know what has changed from one version to the next. The most common question a team member has about another member's change is: what changed?

When pushing a change the dialog shows a list of affected assets. That list should be maintained and presented later to users wanting to know what a given version change had from the previous version.

The Team Project Versions mechanism in the Media Browser panel should be changed to show all of the versions in the left master tree in reverse order with the latest on top.

    Clicking on a version should…

  8. Offline version of team projects or merge project feature

I'm currently on a feature documentary and work remotely as an AE for an editor on the other side of the city. Having a merge projects function would be incredibly useful. We are constantly ending up with duplicate multicam clips and sequences, if for example I sound mix reel 1, the editor is on reel 2 and we attempt to consolidate the projects. Team projects has the functionality that we need, but isn't stable enough for us to use with this much footage.

You have someone named Carl Strauss who advocates for syncing external audio via multicam, but the implications…

  9. Improved Project Management

Suggestion for better project management in Premiere

We are a post-production facility with 50 copies of Premiere. One the the most difficult things to establish is proper project management. We had in place a set of custom built utilities that could change the various cache folders in Premiere automatically at startup, but this stopped working when the Premiere API broke these functions over a year ago. It would be more desirable to be able to set these things within Premiere itself in a manner that allows customization by a facility. Here are my suggestions:

Currently, Premiere's "Project Settings" contains seven…

  11. Save timeline as a project with relative footage and nested sequences

When you have a lot of timelines, each with a lot of nested sequence, project manager doesn't collect them and the relative footage (or other nested sequences). I have to select ALL sequence and consolidate them, but it is not helpful, because the footage in sequence not used will be copied, with a bin full of unused footage and timelines.

A great thing would be: i select the interested timeline and this will save all the relative footage, nested and subnested sequence and footage, dynamic link, ecc.

  12. bug report: "Link media" is broken, links to wrong files.

The only apparent way to replace your project's footage with color-corrected versions of the same files (for example) is to mark them all as offline and then relink them to the files in a different directory.

But if the new source directory you select doesn't contain a file matching a clip you're trying to relink, Premiere won't tell you; it'll simply relink the clip to an incorrect file in a different (the original) directory.

THIS IS A HUGE PROBLEM. It results in WRONG MATERIAL going into your program, a professional liability and a ridiculous defect in an application of any…

  13. Project Manager built for taking projects on-the-go and return, not just archive.

Here's the situation. I have a 2TB project. Client wants revisions made while I'm on the road - fortunately, I'm only using 2% of media in final edit, and even then, can edit with proxy files, so it's easy to get my project down to a few hundred GBs to take on the road. We use project manager, only export a couple timelines, transcode, and VOILA! It's great and works well (although better progress bar indications would be nice.)

HOWEVER, if I ever want to RE-LINK or RE-MERGE my changes BACK into my original project file on desktop edit environment,…

  14. Expand Populated Bins

    expand populated bins-
at work we use project templates with many bins already created to sort media. My idea is to use a function similar to hitting "U" in After Effects' timeline, and only open/expand bins that are currently populated. (when the project tab is selected, or multiple bins are selected?)

  15. PR CC 2019 generating TextEdit.app files in my project folder every time I save.

Has only happened once, but I started a new project today and I noticed this bug. Working on a speced out mid 2017 Macbook Pro on High Sierra 10.13.6 w/ Radeon Pro 560 4096 MB. When I start a new project I always map my scratch discs to the project folder and most often times work off an external, USB C drive. Basically, every time I save a new TextEdit.app file of 0 bytes is created in the project folder, my scratch folder, and in my previews folder. I have attached a screen shot for reference.

  17. CC2019 project no longer opens

I have an old CC2019 project I created in November and now the client wants changes // I try to open the project and CC2019 just hangs and hangs and hangs, Spinning Beach Ball of Doom //

So I used this handy tool: http://www.joshcluderay.com/downgrade-premiere-project-converter/
and now the project opens fine in CC2018, though some of those sparkly Lumetri Tools in 2019 are gone, at least I can deliver my video today.

Just another comment in the overall "crashyness" of CC2019.

My workmates have been trying to tell me not to start new projects in 2019, and now I will finally…

  18. Copy/paste metadata columns

    Yes, like in Avid...

In a perfect world, the bins of an NLE would be as powerful as a spreadsheet & database program.

So for a power user (e.g. an assistant editor managing a feature film with thousands of clips), any functionality to manipulate and organize the data is useful.

As far as UI design, can be easily implemented with highlight-a-column+copy/paste, or right-click on a column header.

  20. Wrong MXF Clip Timecode after Upgrading to CC 2019

There seems to be an issue when converting older projects in in CC 2019. Any edits made with MXF clips (shot on Sony FS7) seem to be off from the proper timecode. Open the project in CC 2018 and the proper edits are displayed. Other formats (ex. .MOV) seems to work properly.
