  1. BUG: Audio drops out during playback

I've had issues with audio consistently dropping out during playback for years now. I've recently discovered that it has something to do with linked audio to a video file. It doesn't happen if I disable the audio connected to the video file.

The problem is that we usually plug the microphone directly to the camera, so I have to use the audio from the video file.

This has been a problem for a long time so I hope it gets fixed soon!

  2. Delayed stop when playback is stopped. (Spacebar stopping playback delays the stop)

Playback doesn't stop when you press spacebar. It takes an extra second, sometimes 2 or 3 seconds to stop. This goes against the entire point and process to professional video editing. You NEED to be able to stop at the exact frame you want, EVERY TIME so that you can make a creative edit in exactly the way you want. This is not an issue with my computer; if I use other editing software, there's no issue with stopping playback. PLEASE, we are all begging you to fix stability FIRST before flashy new features. You are self sabotaging your business…

  3. Shuttle Right Bug

There is a bug where if i "Shuttle Right" to increase playback speed the audio will speed up but the footage and timeline curser will freeze. Premiere is then totally unresponsive, I can save my work but it still continues until i force quit premiere. VERY annoying as makes editing take far longer. Please fix as has never been a problem before and plays at normal speed absolutely buttery smooth.

  5. Blackmagic Micro Monitor SDI > HDMI Broken in 22.2.0

I use a Blackmagic Micro Monitor to convert my Decklink SDI output to HDMI for my playback monitor. When I do that, Premiere will show a still image of my video playback when the timeline cursor is parked or scrubbing, but as soon as I hit play, it goes black. I can confirm that the connections work fine for playback of the same content in Resolve. I am using the latest Premiere and Blackmagic software and drivers. Blackmagic support indicated it's an issue that will require a Premiere update to fix.

  6. Allow users to specify for each project where rendered files (enter) goes.

Right now, all rendered files are kept in the same destination unless you enter Finder and edit scripts. It would be amazing if when you create a project, you could specify where the rendered files for it would go (the ones you create when you click the enter key.)

This is extremely useful for people working with external hard drives who want things rendering there and not on their computer storage.

  7. Premiere crashes when watching Sony S-log footage on source monitor

Premiere 22 keeps crashing when watching Sony s-log3 footage (UHD 50fps AVC-I) on the source monitor. It only started happening about a week ago, crashing from 30s-5min of watching the footage on the source monitor. But no crashes once the footage is on the timeline and on the program window.

I was initially working with proxies on an external drive, then I wondered if it was something about the proxies (and the crazy color management issue that's been going to create them from s-log on AME), so I moved to my local M.2 drive and tried with and without proxies. Same…

  8. BUG: Playhead stops moving due to problem asset in Bin

This is happening to me more frequently: i'll drag an asset from a Bin to the timeline, and suddenly the timeline window will stop responding visually. "Behind the scenes," i can scrub around and see my movie in the Program monitor, but nothing in the Timeline (most notably the playghead) updates visually,

Certain assets in certain Bins cause this problem and i don't know why. The only fix i've discovered is to identify the asset PPro is choking on, and put it in a different Bin. Neither regenerating nor renaming the asset works to solve the problem.

  9. Premiere 2022 build 128 and previous build Dropped frames in Monterey 12.3

Updated to Monterey 12.3 and all Premiere 2022 versions have massive dropped frames in timeline window. Rendering previews, every quality setting tested to no success. Same videos play smooth on desktop preview and in Quicktime. Zero changes to settings from before update. Also reset to default preferences as trouble shooting with no success. HD or lower size doesn't matter, dropped frames to the point of unusable.

  10. Crashes Loop Playback

I've had a number of crashes when enabling loop playback. If I modify channel volume using the mixer during playback and then attempt to stop playback, or disable loop playback, PPro will hang.

  11. Space bar Playback and other Shortcuts stopped working

    Macbook Pro M1
    16gb
    11.6.4 - Big Sur

    Premiere Pro 22.2.0

So, this is a new one on me. Out of the blue some of my keyboard shortcuts have stopped functioning.

Can no longer use the spacebar to begin (or end) playback in the timeline or source monitor. Similarly I cannot use 'M' to add a Marker to any footage regardless of where it is.

Adobe Premiere on an M1 is pretty much beyond useless at the moment. I can't trust it to do anything, be it export without glitches or function as it is intended.

    The only thing I've…

  12. Shuttling with 'L' causes video to freeze

I updated to Adobe Premiere 22.2 and anytime I use the K key to shuttle forward, the play head pauses and the video stops in the program monitor, but the audio continues. Then when I click the space bar to pause the audio continues. So basically I can't shuttle forward in double speed anymore. This behavior does not happen in version 14 which is installed on the same computer. My computer is brand new and has very high specs.

  15. Fast forwarding or scanning back in timeline broken.

When fast forwarding using the JKL keys or going in reverse at any speed greater than playback speed, the timeline goes out of control and will not stop. The Picture freezes and the audio takes about 30secs to stop after I hit the stop button. This happens in HD or 4K simple timeline with no effects on clip. Also happens if I set the resolution to half or quarter. M1 MBP Monterey and latest PP update. This is truly a pain. If Adobe can address this a lot of us would be grateful.

  16. Proxies not working Productions (Still)

    PPro v 22.2.0; macOS 12.2.1 (Monterey).

Proxies are still (!) not behaving as proxies across clips / sequences / projects in a production.

Clips in timelines are accessing and trying to play original media. This is in spite of having proper proxies attached.

I've done the various dances with unlinking / relinking media and detaching / attaching proxies and dragging sequences into and out of projects.

    The bug persists.

It was reported in April 2020 an labelled by Bruce Bullis (Adobe) as being "tracked" as DVAPR-4222990.

An update and fix would be appreciated.

    Very frustrating.

  17. Press play/stop or click in the timeline without it jumping to current playhead's position

Please make that a click in the timeline or play/stop make the timeline stop at the position I am looking at and not jump back to the playhead if it is somewhere else in the timeline (Just like the "Move Playhead to Cursor" short cut but without having to use a shortcut)

    For example:
I am working on a timeline and so now I want to watch it. I press play and in minute 8:41 I just want to prolong a transition so I zoom in and do it while the playhead keeps advancing and the video playing. It takes…

  19. Enable Pre and Postroll when recording on several AudioTracks

For our workflow it would be helpful while recording on several tracks in the audiotrackmixer to have the possibility to use pre and postroll. as far as i know pre and postroll can only be enabled when i start a single track recording in the timeline.
woukd be great to get help or answers from other users

  20. [Audio Hardware settings] Playback speed influenced by input device issue

This is not an issue it is a bug since 2016.

Every time I plugin in any input device (microphone) the playback speed is faster @ roughly 3X the normal speed. Both audio and video is influenced.

Here is an article I found that helped me correct this issue.
    http://echeng.com/articles/fix-adobe-premiere-pro-cc-plays-clip-previews-too-quickly/#:~:text=If%20Premiere%20Pro%20is%20playing,play%20it%20at%20normal%20speed.
