  2. 13.0.2 Online Shared files - Video Un-syncs

I edit footage that I share with someone through the online file sharing program Dropbox. When he edits something and then saves and I open it on my end some video file's in and out points are shifted. The overall video is in the same spot in the timeline, but it acts as though someone slipped the footage way to the side and sometimes even beyond the bounds of the footage which creates a "missing file" look. We both jumped Premiere back to 13.0.1 and it solved it for now.

  3. title designer background video OFF

This is a performance issue, caused by the title designer. When title designer is open, selecting background video to ON obviously slows performance. So many people turn it off when editing. However, when you switch timelines, the background video automatically turns back ON, slowing performance again. The default state for the background video should be OFF. This results in the editor having to turn the background video OFF every time a different timeline is opened which is inconvenient especially for complicated projects with a lot of nesting.

  4. Timeline editing is absolutely unusable

    Premiere CC 2019 Workspace Issue
The playerhead on the timeline won't show that it's moving until after you hit spacebar to play the timeline. You also can't see any changes you made to the timeline In this picture, I have clicked on the area where my mouse is -- but the playerhead will NOT move until after you play the timeline. This makes it nearly impossible to make changes to the timeline. The timline previews will NOT load correctly, and every time you go to the effects panel to choose an effect, the workspace will glitch out and not let…

  6. Make use of up to 32 processor cores of AMD 2990WX for Premiere and Media Encoder

Looking at my Task Manager Premiere Pro and Media Encoder just utilize max 8 processor cores of my AMD Ryzen 2990WX with 32 cores while rendering. Adobe could do better. And I could work faster in large projects.

  7. Choppy playback forcing frequent render - anyone else having this issue?

Since upgrading to PPCC2019, I've noticed that playback has gotten significantly choppier and clunky. So much so, that I now am almost forced to render something as simple as applying a title over another clip. Has anyone else ran into this issue? I still have PPCC2018 installed and I don't run into this choppy playback issue when opening a project in cc2018.

I'm on a late-2013 iMac with osx10.13.6 | NVIDIA GeForce GTX 775M graphics card | 32gb of ram. Would updating to the new Mac osx benefit this issue?

  8. Buy an iMac Pro and fix all the bugs with OSX and the new iMac Pro

I’ll try to make this short and to the point:
Adobe Premiere BARELY works on the new iMac Pro and OSX. Your team needs to buy this computer, and trouble shoot until it’s fixed & optimized.

It crashes. It shuts down. It’s slow. It’s unresponsive. It’s like editing on a 2003 computer. My company has a fully loaded $10,000 brand new iMac Pro with everything the most up to date as possible and we are fed up with Premiere. We are currently looking into Final Cut workflow, because the exact same projects run butter smooth (all 4K raw with no…

  9. masking

Whenever creating a mask on my very fast computer, I experience constant lagging. As soon as I move the cursor of the mask, I have to render EVERY single time, which bothers me a lot. I do not know why this is an issue. I have not had it with other versions of Premiere - perhaps it's CC..?

  10. Make a program that WORKS! Premiere crashes almost every time I open it. Why can't I simply edit videos and see the playback?

No matter what I do, the program freezes, crashes, and a window says "Sorry, a serious error has occurred".
I am SO sick of paying for this program that never works. I have tried updating all Adobe apps, updating my MacBook, restarting, force quitting, re opening, etc.
    PLEASE HELP!

  11. Move all your developers to stability for two years.

After countless posts in here about stability, it's still bad and still getting worse.

Here's my suggestion, it's very actionable: Move every single person on the Premiere team to stability and stop work on everything else.

I should never have a sequence that's rendered and still won't play back. I shouldn't have to restart my computer regularly because simply closing a project freezes premiere so hard that it won't force quit (usually hard restart because I can't even force quit). Similarly, it shouldn't crash and then not be able to open again until I restart.

    Sure there's lots of other…

  12. global FX mute intermittently doesn't work

Working in multi camera editing mode with colour correction filters applied to the master clips, the global FX mute randomly stops working - the FX button is selected (blue) but the effects are showing. Trying to work without the effects while editing to keep playback smooth with 7 camera angles but it's proving difficult!

  15. Apple Core Graphics

Please. It's 2018. Premiere Pro is on its 2019 release... and there still isn't any support for CoreGraphics. Final Cut Pro X using non Nvidia chips are much faster than any Creative Cloud program using CUDA. I use a 5K Retina iMac... my co-workers have iMac Pro's... Final Cut Pro X is faster on my machine than CC video apps are on their iMac Pro's. This would be solved with coregraphics support.

  16. Audio voice over recording not working with external device in Premiere Pro 13.0.3

We have connected an external device that tests fine in Sound > my Prefs and is being seen by APP 13.0.3 but will not provide sound levels or record to timeline

  17. Add button to dismiss welcome tutorials

The welcome to premiere tutorial banners take up an obscene amount of screen space on the welcome screen. Hiding the recent projects list. This isnt an issue on large screens, but working on a tiny laptop and you can only see 2-3 recent projects.

I had to skip through all the tutorials to disable the banners.

Please add a little button as illustrated in the screenshot attached, that would close the tutorial banner section.

  18. Non Linear Render Optimization of GPU and CPU actions when exporting and rendering.

Currently rendering of effects (in/out) starts at the beginning of the timeline and works toward the end. Often GPU will be rendering while CPU is idle, and then GPU stops working and we see the CPU cores go active. Why not simultaneous usage of GPU and CPU? If an the application is rendering a section of CPU intensive computations, and there next section of the timeline is GPU, why wait for the GPU to get to work on that section? Been watching CPU and GPU history alternate for several minutes. Oh great, now it beach balled mid render.

  20. Adobe Premiere Pro Crashing Every 5 Minutes

Adobe PP is crashing every 5 minutes or less. Any time I try to slide a clip over, up or down it will freeze. I am a full time video editor and Premiere Pro is the main software I use for editing. However, it is becoming unbearable to work with. I've been dealing with this for the past month or longer. I waited for a new update in hopes it would be fixed, but since the last update the issue is still occurring.
