  2. Images now upside down after upgrade

Just upgraded to PP CC 12.1.1 (Build 10) from the previous release. In my sequence, there were videos imported from a phone as MP4 (h.264) files. The videos are now upside down. I now have to go through and re-orient all my small device video clips. Don't know if this is some unexpected "feature," or whether I should expect this from now on. A tad frustrated.

  3. handle variable frame rate footage

Smartphones produce videos with a variable frame rate, rather than a constant frame rate. Video players can play this videos sync, but Premiere Pro can't. Please find a solution to handle the variable frame rate from mobile phone's footage, since everyday it's getting more and more used

  5. Multithreaded conforming

    Please make conforming multithreaded!

I know this must be achievable because conforming is just reading through the file and making peak files / metadata files. Right now the process is sequential, one file at a time. The process could be parallel, conforming multiple files at a time.

For multicore machines, this would be a HUGE increase in startup performance when importing footage. Especially for big projects with hours of clips.

I can't import footage using the screen recorder on my new MacBook Pro, because when I try to import it, I get an error message saying, "File contains a complex edit list"

  7. Fix the 'recovered clips' bug

Everytime you copy or import anything from one project to another premiere creates automatically a bin called 'recovered clips' which is very annoying.
Then, you edit through all you clips and in your secuence if you choose to 'show you in project' it goes to the 'recovered clips' bin and not to the original bin that has your material.
    This is a huge bug.

  8. Import After Effects Composition - Bug + Improvement

When I import an After Effects Composition I click the desired comp, then OK, then the "Import After Effects Composition" window appears again so I have to go through the process again...

Can you also please make it so we can select and import multiple comps at once?

  10. Import media as proxy

    Import media as proxy file.

Often we are sent dailies/proxies (shooting 4k, dailies made at 1080p) which are used to start editing the next day. We do not receive full resolution media to up to a week or so later. It would be beneficial to be able to import the dailies as proxy media so it can mimic the 4k resolution and therefore eliminate the need to resize during the online process and attach the native source media easily.

  11. Option to disable or delete Amira LUTs

Currently, when you import Amira footage a LUT is automatically applied as a Master Effect. If you ever reconnect to a proxy file and then connect back to the fullres media, another LUT will be automatically applied, stacking with the first.

If you click on one of these auto-LUTs and try to delete it, nothing happens. You can tap delete or right click -> cut, but the LUT remains. You can finish up with a project with a huge list of LUTs in the master effects (after multiple rounds of switching to proxy and back to full-res), bloating the project…

  12. Premiere Pro import marker colors in FCP XML files.

Currently, Premiere Pro ignores marker colors in FCP XML files that are imported. It would be helpful if it would import the color as well.

  13. BUG: Creation Date / Date Time Digitized metadata not accurate.

When footage is imported, the metadata reads incorrectly, shifting the Creation Date and Date Time Digitized timestamp by several hours. It shifts by different amounts for different cameras. There is a long thread on this in the forums that has never been solved (https://forums.adobe.com/thread/2087685).

Adobe personnel remotely took control of my computer to diagnose and they too, were at a loss. Many people are having this problem. It makes editing in sequence with multiple cameras nearly impossible. There is also no workaround. All cameras were set to record date/time accurately and synced accordingly. Fix your bug, folks. It's…

  14. Premiere Pro's Newest update doesn't recognize common codecs as Video Files [.mp4 and .mov files are recognized as audio files only]

Premiere Pro does not consistently import MP4 or MOV footage as video files, and often only recognizes them as Audio files. This is common format amongst most prosumer level cameras. Not to mention a lot of Pro Level cameras still use this format. This problem is not seen in PP 12.0.1 and hasn't been seen since CS6. Please repair this ASAP.

  16. Can you please add Media Watch bins?

Instead of having to manually import footage can you please add a feature which allows you to set up watch folders? Much like the watch folders in Media Encoder.

This will automatically pull in footage as its added to a specific location on a system. If we could have it with out the import progress dialogue that was be ace too.

    Thanks.

  18. Bug - Smartphone footage is rotated in CC2018 when importing CC2017 project

-- This is not an idea, this is a bug report --

    Problem description:
If i create a project in CC2017 (11.1.2) and import smartphone footage the footage is displayed correctly on the timeline and in the Preview area and when the project panel is set to Icon view.

If i now import the CC2017 project into CC2018 (12.1.1) the footage is rotated 180 degrees. The ECW still shows 0 degrees. The footage is rotated in the Preview area of the Project panel and when the Project panel is set to Icon view.

    To reproduce:
    1. Download my sample projects…

  19. Fix uploading / dragging video to timeline bug in Premiere

Bug: Many of us can't upload or drag video to Premiere. The audio comes in fine, but the video doesn't show up on the timeline. There are workarounds for this, but it seems to be a bug.

  20. Import Media should create Folder, even when only 1 is in folder

Import Media will not create folders, if they contain only 1 file.
The files are put to the folder above ... thats NOT, what I expected.
All files are presorted into a folder structure, for coming from cams, audio devices or other sources.
I would like to import my complete folder struture with ALL folders, even when containing 1 file only
    Thank you
    Best Regards
    Bert
