Live (Dynamic Link) Bins
PROBLEM: Due to the nature of my work, I slow get footage for different projects over a couple weeks or months. As I get new footage/music/foley for a project, it seems pretty old school to have to import each set of files into my windows folder structure then manually import the files into premiere to match that folder structure.
IDEA: Allow for the import of a folder tree into the premiere project panel to be displayed as bins. After that's done, you can have the preference to (1) update the bins on project open (2) auto update the bins every…

Import multiple after effects compositions
When I go to import an After Effects composition, I have to import one at a time. Should be the same behavior as all other imports - shift+select multiple, etc.

Using the newest version of PPro on Mac, there is an error when trying to folders of files. The MP4 files themselves import fine.
We have a folder that contains sub folders of different lens flares. The files themselves are MP4. Using the import command, drag and drop import and using the media browser to import the Parent folder causes an error and only some of the contained files, if any, to be imported. Importing the files themselves (not from a parent folder) works just fine. Seems to be a bug with the 2018 update. 2017 handled folders just fine.

Please support for Mac! I represent a professional market that uses Livestream for our clients and we use the recording (motion jpeg - .avi)
Please support for Mac! I represent a professional market that uses Livestream for our clients and we use the recording (motion jpeg - .avi) to produced edited pieces above and beyond the stream for our clients. The .mp4s it produces are not viable as source material as they are limited to the stream settings and are overly compressed.

Live Logger metadata import to Premiere Timeline
I would love to see the "Unassociated Metadata" panel from Adobe Prelude in Premiere Pro.
In addition it would be great if there was the ability to import .XMP files from the iOS Live Logger app onto a timeline rather than just per clip.
This would really improve our post-production workflow by importing notes that we took on the set, using time of day timecode.
Thanks for your consideration,

Avid DNXHD 220x Codec will not work in 12.1.1
Avid DNXHD 220x Codec will not work in 12.1.1. Premiere and After Effects interprets the file as having audio only and the picture comes in offline. There is no way to reconnect to picture when you link the media. A lot of our older projects contain files with this particular codec so we have had to downgrade.

Trying to import a .psd file after doing an update. I keep getting a generic error.
Updated Adobe Premier Pro from Creative Cloud. Opened a current project. Tried importing a .psd file and keep getting a generic error. I tried changing the name of the file to not include an underscore as I read there was an issue with that a while back. I have moved the file to a different drive still no luck. I have closed and re-opened Premier, still no luck. "Generic error" doesn't help correct anything! Need help!!!

Acquisition

Images now upside down after upgrade
Just upgraded to PP CC 12.1.1 (Build 10) from the previous release. In my sequence, there were videos imported from a phone as MP4 (h.264) files. The videos are now upside down. I now have to go through and re-orient all my small device video clips. Don't know if this is some unexpected "feature," or whether I should expect this from now on. A tad frustrated.

Importing of Video from DJI Phantom 4 Pro Plus Obsidean to Adobe Premier Pro
Currently not able to import any video taken from the DJI Phantom 4 Pro Plus Obsidean message come us saying corrupted and unsupported file even though I am using brand new high speed SD Cards. The technical support guy who is being very helpful showed me me a way to do a walk through by downloading Handbrake. This solution was taking to long to download one file, if I had multiple files to download it would take forever. Adobe and DJI need to sort this matter out and put a notice out there informing people of this matter

Media browser: The ability to go up a level in the file hierarchy
I have been battling with the Media Browser recently, trying to find out how to simply go up a level in the file/folder hierarchy. Unbelievably, it seems that this most essential part of folder navigation is completely absent from Premiere. I honestly thought it must be user error, but, after much searching, this feature is evidently missing. Every other file browser since GUIs were invented has a way to go up a level - why is this fundamental feature missing from Premiere?

The opening of older version session in the newer updated version
there are 2 things i have a huge problem with on the Aril update. first off, minor, but a while back there use to be a separate window for the "Title" and within the window there were 2 buttons you could press to instantly center them. I do not see that function anymore and it is a pain to make sure if the title is centered now.
NOW, the BIGGEST problem i have faced with this current update is the corruption of files when opening older versions. Last month, i'd be able to open an older timeline from session that…

Whatever you did in your n
Whatever you did in your last update, now any .png file I import into a project, no longer has an alpha channel. Titles, lower 3rd's, really any image I bring into Premiere Pro doesn't work the way it should (or did before the update).

BUG: In latest update (April 13) AEP files open the dynamic link menu TWICE
As of the latest update, importing After Effects project files into Premiere pops up the Dynamic Link menu (to select a composition) TWICE. Choosing different items imports both into a folder, cancelling the second time cancels it outright.
Inconvenient in a fast-moving environment where you normally have to select it and hit OK once. Lots more clicks involved.
I would LOVE the ability to control-click multiple compositions here, but this is not the way to go.7 votes -
.pek File Foreground Rendering
I just received a large project with lots of video all preserved on an external hard drive from an editor. His cache files were stored locally so naturally, my system needs to analyze and rebuild them.
It would be helpful if there was an additional option to the background .pek file generation (which I love and works well) to switch to foreground rendering, utilizing your full cpu to power through a mass of footage and get you editing faster.

Proxie
I'm a DIT who creates synced dailies. It would be great if there was an option when attaching Proxies to the native media that allows linking of media with a different number of audio tracks!
Thanks,
