  1. Composite In Linear Color nvidia update

The most recent Nvidia driver update has affected the way my alpha channels were rendered where anything has a glow. Everything was fine the other day and then I updated my graphics card to 456.71 and suddenly the glows are very obtrusive and in places they shouldn't be. I had to turn off Composite In Linear Color to fix it.

The only thing that has changed between opening the project last time was the Nvidia driver. I suspect a conflict has arisen.

You can see in the screenshots before and after toggling off Composite In Linear Color.

  2. CUDA Acceleration Displaying INCORRECT FRAMES

    Hello,

I've now realized how many problems related to premiere have stemmed from GPU CUDA Acceleration, one of which being premiere displaying incorrect frames with both playback and scrubbing. In fact, it even shows the wrong portion of the entire clip, so all of my masking effects are out of place and make no sense. When I turn on Software Encoding, everything works fine but it's all at a snail-paced editing speed. I'm editing a music video and I have a lot of effects that require GPU Acceleration (along with a lot of speed ramping), so please please PLEASE Adobe…

  4. BUG with Hardware Accelerated Encoding & Decoding

When I enable Hardware Accelerated Encoding & Decoding my exported videos get distorted whenever the footage is altered with an effect, adjustment layer, or text, etc.

Specifically, the color of the footage is automatically adjusted and distorted (usually it's more bland and "washed out".)

For example, this is what the video should look like:
    https://youtu.be/x-CjxcvlKQY

But, when I export with Hardware Encoding enabled, this is the result:
    https://youtu.be/G_-NLqxSDsU

Does anyone know how to fix this? When I disable Hardware Encoding the video exports normally and there are no color distortions. However, I'd really like to enable it because it greatly…

  5. Track Matte Key & Transform Bug With Metal Renderer

When using Metal as your renderer, when you stack the Transform effect BEFORE the Track Matte Key effect on a video clip, adjustments made to properties on the Transform effect (such as scale) will happen AFTER the matte has been set.

If you change your renderer to Software Only, the render order happens correctly and properties on the Transform effect occur BEFORE the matte has been set.

Not having the ability to transform a clip BEFORE the signal gets sent to your matte significantly reduces the usefulness of the Track Matte Key effect.

    Thank-you.

  6. i mac Ritna 5k Hardware compatibility problem with the premier colors

When import any type of video files in the premier the video's colors turns contrasty and darker than the original video file.
so i can't color grade any video which is a big problem

it's a hardware compatibility problem as i understand from my search on the internet and as i understand from the adobe support team that adobe didn't solve this problem yet for the specific version of the i mac ritna 5k

  7. Bug: R3D IPP2 Unusable with Metal on MacOS

When using Metal on MacOS, Red IPP2 R3D footage is displayed with a strange border and exports this way as well. Only appears when playback resolution or paused resolution is set to "Full". Metal GPU is the only supported option moving forward, and Red footage is an industry standard- this must be fixed ASAP!

    MacOS Catalina 10.15.3

  8. Premiere Pro 14.0.3 time remapping preview does not work if CUDA enabled and speed over 800%

Premiere Pro 14.0.3 time remapping preview does not work if CUDA enabled and speed over 800%. In preview, the video play position jumps back and editing is practically impossible. If Video is exported, the problem does not exist. If CUDA turned off and software only used, the problem does not exist. If speed less than 800%, the problem does not exist. Using latest NVIDIA Studio Driver with GTX1080 and GTX1650. Please fix this problem.

  10. Fix ISSUE with P.Pro 2019 NVIDIA GPU usage locking up entire system

I'm running a GTX 980 and a 4790k. Prior to 2019 update, GPU usage was never an issue.

Post-2019 update, Task Manager Shows 100% usage of GPU when just moving 1 slider in Lumetri Color. System Monitor also shows heavy GPU Memory usage.

  11. nVidia Studio Driver 10-bit Support

    Error-Report:
The new, recently released, nvidia Studio Driver opened 10-bit display support for non-pro-cards (like GTX10xx, RTX20xx). So far so good. Premiere stopped working on a multicam edit, yesterday. Today it won't colorcorrect flawlessly. The playhead-line blinked on the timeline, the lumetri-window won't display the sliders correctly and turned white after switching to another program.
As I went back to 8-bit display-settings and restarted my pc, everything worked again.

    I've a GTX1070, Intel i7-5820K, 32GB DDR4 and current Windows 10 (1903 + updates).

  12. Hardware Acceleration still playing up

    Hey there,
I've already made another post regarding the Hardware Acceleration issues on 13.1.2, and 13.1.3 still hasn't addressed them. You may find attached a screen recording showing the problem.

Please, make GPU Acceleration available, its simply ridiculous to be working with the CPU processor on a 20 min project.

    Cheers,

  13. GPU Acceleration shifts colors and adds compression, Mercury Software Only fixes it

We are a team of 25 editors working both in PC's and Macs, with obviously a wide range of GPU's in use.

About half of us are experiencing issues with the following modules:
    - Motion keyframes not working (the image moves in a different way)
    - Color shifts (mostly hue, but also brightness)
    - Opacity not working properly
    - Adjustment layers flickering if opacity keyframes are used

Please, see the attached file for a demonstration on how using GPU Hardware Acceleration actually affects the selected color and adds unrequested compression.

  14. Nvidia drivers after 399 causing the 'black screen on pause' bug

  17. Congratulations on your new update - I cant work anymore!

Since CUDA support is only granted for High Sierra and I work on a render machine with a Geforce GTX Titan X but the machine is a Mac Pro 2009 and High Sierra is only installable through a workaround its not possible to work anymore. You stealing hours and hours of my time with your updates that are bugging everybody in all the programs you supply and now you make it impossible to do my job! Thank you so much - clients are super happy about that - NO LOVE

  18. Crashes GPU as soon as any footage gets shown

As soon as I load any footage into the viewer, my GPU crashes (goes black, shows random stuff, then displays an error message from the graphics driver).
    I'm on a windows machine, I have a mobile Quadro P4000.

There is a "workaround" though. Installing the driver EVERYF***NGTIME before using Premiere (this seems to "reset" something). After a reboot, everything is to "instantly crash" again.

  19. Premiere does not recognise Nvidia GTX970 after update to CC 13.0

After opening an exsisting project that worked just fine prior to the update an error message apears that requests to install an actual driver for the GPU (Nvidia GTX970). It refuses to render the clips
