eGPU is no longer used in recent update to Premiere
Ever since installing Premiere 13.1.2, I get 0 eGPU utilization and dramatically increased render times because of this.

We're still hoping for multiple-GPU support for live playback for HD and 4K
On Mac I use Activity Monitor which continues to show the use of only one GPU for timeline playback, rendered or not.
My 2013 Mac Pro has two very fine Radeon D500's, each with 3GB cache.

Adobe doesn't recognize graphics card
Premiere Pro and Media encoder CC 2019 do not recognize my graphics card. I have tried multiple nvidia drivers.

Vega8: GPU not used since GPUSniffer only detects 1GB fixed shared memory
With AMD's new APUs like the 2500U come quite powerful integrated GPUs like the Vega8. Some OEMs configure a "fixed" shared memory of 1GB, but also allow for 7GB of flexible shared memory on top of this (HP Envy 13 x360). However, Premiere Pro (and AME) only detect the fixed 1GB chunk of memory and decide not to use the GPU for rendering e.g. Lumetri Color, even though Mercury w/ OpenCL is selectable and selected.
For reference, Intel GPUs like the UHD620 with no "fixed" shared memory and only a flexible 4GB area work fine.

Needs option to select a specific GPU, so premiere pro can use that on priority.
Needs option to select a specific GPU, so premiere pro can use that on priority.
So in this way Premiere Pro can use a GPU that users feel will work best. It will not just optimised how premiere pro works but also it will boost the playback and render time. Rather than shifting on different GPU's let user select the best GPU he thinks he has. Or at least give option for selecting Multiple GPU ? So in that way be can give priority on which GPU to use first and second so they can be simultaneously be used.4 votes -
Add support for Amd 5000 series GPUs
The 5700 and 5700xt have been sold well. However there is still no support for in Premiere Pro and After Effects.
Same counts for the Nvidia 20 Super Series, which has no official support according to the Adobe pages.

GPU Acceleration has a bug
For unknown reasons, Premiere Pro occasionally drops CUDA GPU acceleration during edit sessions, blacking out video playback. Switching to "software only" is not a fix — just an added inconvenience. The problem can be rectified by restarting Premiere with CUDA acceleration selected. Everything is fine until the next time it happens, once or more times a day, sometimes a few days without incident, regardless of the project. When active, CUDA acceleration works perfectly. Has anyone found a real solution?

INCONSISTENT PERFORMANCE & USAGE OF EGPU
Premiere (14.1), of course, has the worst utilization of EGPUs. Sometimes it works, some times it doesn't, sometimes it uses 1/2 the power, sometimes it uses zero. Resolve works 100%, and maximizes usage always. Please update it so it utilizes hardware appropriately.
Currently using MBP 2018, 2.6, 32G, Radeon 580 + EGPU with RX Vega 56 8GB

Continue to support Nvidia CUDA
Please continue to support CUDA. There are hundets of thousend worstations out there running Nvidia CUDA cards and all of them can not use your up to date software. You abo is way to expensive to just lett all Nvidia users be unable to continue working with those almost new and very expensive Nvidia GPU´s.

Fix Mercury Transmit
Ever since updating to latest version of windows, Premiere Pro 2020 and latest stable nvidia drivers, mercury transmit is constantly crashing premiere pro. There is no warning... all of a sudden I get the windows spinning cursor and then Premiere shuts down. I am happy to discuss this problem with any tech or engineer at adobe. I have posted this several times in the user forums with no avail.
