Integrated GPU problem
Why does internal GPU working in 100% while nvidia gtx 970(in my case) is sleeping? - while rendering. I am using newest and updated premiere. Why noone is solving this?

My NVIDIA GPU does not appear in Project settings (Only Mercury Playback Engine GPU!)
My GPU is working but I can not select it in the Project Setting menu. Only Mercury Playback Engine GPU appears. I have run a GPUSniffer in the PremierPro directory, and NVIDIA GPU is seen.
I have seen many threads on the same issue. Please fix urgently.

Options for which graphics chipset is used for CUDA mercury engine
Please give an option to chose which graphics chipset is used by premiere as on my laptop it defaults to the Intel integrated rather than the discreet Nvidia GTX1060.
Please see this thread for further explanations of the issue.

MacOS: Improve / FIX Multiple GPU Support in Premiere
Multiple GPUs in Premiere are technically supported, but they are not utilized properly.
Need a way to prioritize which GPU should be used "first" or a ranking method where you run an app/command and the software learns which one should be ranked first.
An iMac 27" (iMac19,1) with AMD Vega 48 dGPU and eGPU connected will utilize the eGPU when it is present.
However an AMD 5700 XT eGPU should only be a supplement since the internal Vega 48 is much better for hardware encoding on export, but it is barely utilized at all - less than 5-10% on GPU…

Please support CUDA under High Sierra for CC2020
Please bring back CUDA support in AE, Pr, and AME 2020 for users who still are running these apps in High Sierra with NVIDA hardware and web drivers.
It makes no sense to keep Open CL and remove CUDA. Both are deprecated but for many of us remaining on High Sierra until the new Mac Pro becomes available or AMD releases Big Navi, CUDA is still viable. Please return CUDA support for CC 2020 media apps during this interim period. Thanks!

Bug: Unable to engage GPU acceleration with AMD Radeon Vega 64 GPU
When selecting options for playback and rendering in settings, Premiere/Media Encoder do not recognize the Vega 64 as an option for Open CL GPU accelerated rendering; forcing me to use the Mercury Playback Software in the application. (Drop-down menu is grayed out)
All software, firmware, drivers, and the BIOS build have been updated to the most current versions. Projects have crashed on export/rendering even on minimal intensity export settings. Is there a solution for GPU detection in Adobe software or perhaps an alternative way to engage the GPU as the primary rendering system for Adobe applications?Workstation Specs:

Premiere 13.0.1 Lumetri GPU Bug (Windows + Mac)
There is a GPU glitch on Windows & Mac while using Lumetri with the latest version that is extremely annoying.
You cannot color correct anything unless turning off CUDA acceleration.
It seems to affect many people as well.To illustrate the problem I've captured it on video:
https://vimeo.com/300699996My system specs:
Windows 10 Build 1083
Intel i9 7960X CPU
Nvidia GTX 1080 Ti GPU
Premiere 13.0.1Things I've tried:
Reinstall everything
Install the latest NVIDIA drivers
Rollback to official supported drivers (411.63) with CUDA 9.2 for 13.0.1
Clear Premiere settings & Cache
The only thing that worked is to change…7 votes -
Why does Apple Metal not work properly?
Metal is supposed to make rendering faster. So why is that when i turn it on, Premiere actually goes slower??? Would be nice if things actually worked the way they're supposed to.

Errors with Mercury Graphics Engine (OpenCL) and RX Vega M
I'm testing out a new Dell XPS 2-in-1 with the new Intel AMD RX Vega M graphics card, and I was getting some very bizarre results with exports. One particular export resulted in a zero byte file size and I had to switch the render to Software rendering, then render the sequence, and I was finally able to export it.
Is there something inherently weird about the support for OpenCL and the Mercury Graphics Engine?
PS. Don't ask me to update my drivers because I've done that.
Thanks,

AMD Radeon Pro GPU Support
Hey Adobe team,
I know you guys use NVIDIA Cards a lot for your GPU optimization, but those of us on the Mac system are really feeling left out. Would be great to have GPU support for AMD as well as NVIDIA. A lot of people use Mac, so I think this would help a great deal of people.
Would love something along the equivalent of NVIDIA's CUDA support, but for AMD. Even a little love on that front would be great!

Black Video Bug returnsss
I have a huge issue with Premiere Pro, the black video bug. i am trying to make a showreel, but like half of the previously rendered videos dont show, i can still hear the audio, but the videos just display as black... unless i turn off the CUDA GPU render option... but to render everything purely relying on the software aint an option.
HELP PLEASE

1080p > 4K sequence Drastically improves GPU playback!?!
BUG:
Slow timeline playback (Non-optimised GPU Mercury playback)SOLUTION:
Converting 1080p sequence to 4k sequence (in project setting)
drastically improves playback of 1080p files!?!?! (and applying "Scale to Frame Size")I suspect that Mercury GPU is badly optimised, and once i up-res the sequence setting to 4k, the GPU is better optimised.
Playback performance drastically improve (but playing reverse speed is still not smooth)
Hardware:
Asus GL502VS
i7-6700HQ
Nvidia 1070

GPU Bug - This effect requires GPU Acceleration - but it doesn't earlier in the sequence?!
In follow up to the long standing topic forum at https://forums.adobe.com/thread/2397134 I'm having this as a different error. For some reason I can only use so much GPU time it would seem.
Can this be investigated please? Here's a new angle to this issue. I'm on latest everything BTW. I can use a VR Mobius Zoom at the beginning 30 seconds and VR Plane to Sphere elsewhere in my sequence beautifully. However, for some unknown reason, I can't use any VR effect in the last 10 seconds of the sequence. What?
I'm getting the Red Band of Death on both…

Premiere doesn't gracefully switch from OpenCL to CUDA
I use a laptop with an iGPU on the go, and an eGPU at the office. On the past few versions, (12.1.2 included), if I open a project that was set as CUDA with no eGPU, it gracefully switches it to OpenCL. But if I save it as OpenCL, and then open it again with my eGPU attached, Premiere instantly crashes. The only solution is to disconnect the eGPU, open the project ans save as software only rendering, and then open it again with the eGPU attached. Then I can switch to CUDA again and carry on editing

I don't know why Integrated GPU in Macbook pro(intel hd4000) are not supported for GPU processing. In high sierra Hardware acceleration is being used to export H264. Please help other owners of adobe premiere pro to use intel integrated GPUs.
