pls improve the adaptability of R3D raw files in Premiere CC 2019 and Prelude CC 2019
First, it is very amazing that Premiere has supported R3D file from Red Cinema Camera for a long time, you can import those files directly and adjust the raw settings in the Master Effect Panel and source settings when right click on the footage. But there are two things that really slows down the workflow on r3d files.
In Premiere, everytime you open a project with r3d files, it will regenerate all the audio peak files for the r3d file. Since it was already generated when importing, why everytime needs to re-generate again. Sometimes I really needed to wait until…

Bug with lifted Gamma on import of Pro Res 422 .mov files.
Noticing a new issue with Pro Res 422 files looking blown out, like having lifted Gamma on imported footage. I have tried it on 3 different Mac machines and all of them are interpreting the imported footage the same way. They all look as though they are over exposed. When the same footage is imported into DaVinici on the same machines the footage is fine. When it’s viewed it the QuickTime player on the desktop the footage is fine. I can’t downgrade to earlier versions of Premiere now because I won’t be able to access the new projects created with…

If you don't intend to support a common video format: offer built-in conversion to an editing-friendly format
I understand that some formats don't lend well to editing, but I'm bothered by having to seek out dodgy free internet apps to do a conversion because this premium software can't.

Cannot import h265 files that used to work on 13.0.
I'm working with h265 footage from a Mavic 2 Pro that used to be compatible on Pr 13.0 and with 13.1 I can't import anymore.

Sample test file:

Expected: Adobe Premiere should be able to import this fully compliant file.

Adobe RAW support for DNG files
Just like in AE when you import a DNG files you can use the adobe camera raw function, that would be incredibly helpful to use with Premiere CC as well

18fps
I lik adobe premiere CC, But it misses the ability to set an aribrary number of frames/sec in the timeline.
In our company we use adobe premiere to editing projects for digitized films shot at 16 or 18 frames/second. It is essential for our customers that the frame rate remains identical to the source.
This is not possible in Adobe Premiere so we are looking now for an alternative editing program. Sony Vegas has this ability.
Basically the request is to have the choice for any frame rate on the timeline and when exporting.

Fix AJA ProRes support!!!!
Yesterday I found out the hard way while working on a time critical live event that ProRes 422 files recorded by AJA recorders (the standard for live show records) are totally incompatible with Premiere 13.0.3. The video file would not playback at all, and it would brick my external hard disk the file was on. We experienced this on multiple systems. Finally another editor let me know 12.1.2 would work. While 12.1.2 would edit and play the file. It would drop audio or drop frames every 20 seconds during playback in premiere. Making for the most frustrating editing experience I…

Support .MTS files (Still no audio)
.MTS files have no audio. I don't get how this is still a problem.
I've found a lot of posts about this online but no solution that works.
Just spoke to the support over chat, and the official solution offered was to use Sony Vegas, export the files from there to mp4 or something, and then go ahead and edit in premiere. Insane.

RGB 444 (ProRes444 and CineformRGB) Sources do not transcode properly, Levels Issue
Video footage provided as 444 (RGB) does not transcode to 422 (YUV) properly. I believe it misinterprets the levels, making the image appear low contrast and milky on playback yet transcodes to 422 have clipped blacks and expanded contrast. I tested this using CineformRGB (444) and ProRes4444 and it provided the same results: Adobe Media Encoder or Premiere results in clipped blacks and stretched contrast compared to an identical transcode using DaVinci Resolve on the same machine.
In further testing, 422 sources (CineformYUV, DNxHR HQ and ProRes422) do not have the same issue and can be transcoded without issue.
Please…

Import Video without audio
Import Video without audio - sometimes I need b-roll without audio, and I import some long 2h long files and need to wait for waveform conformation etc - I hope you got my idea.
p.s. and for example, if I import 1 folder full of files, then I can decide what files I want with audio etc. That would be cool

Premiere should be able to import DV files. Come on, guys.
I can't believe Premiere won't import QuickTimes encoded with the DV codec. Especially when it EXPORTS THEM!
