  1. Support frame rates greater than 60FPS

It would be helpful to video formats that can support frame rates at 120 or 144FPS. Such frame rates are admittedly rare, but with gaming being as popular as it is there is a real potential for its use.

  4. Sony Venice X-OCN ST clips show up as white

Footage shot on on the Sony Venice camera at the full 6k resolution using the XOCN LT or ST codec shows up as white/black in the timeline.

We've noticed that this only happens when shooting footage that is not one of the two base ISO(500 or 2500). For example a clip shot at ISO 2500 shows up just fine in Premiere, but a clip shot at ISO 3200 shows up black. Also a clip shot at ISO 800 shows as white.

The clips we have are too big for uploading here, but we can find a way to share them.

  5. Multitrack Audio Export

We deal with clients they need multitrack audio export for AVI and MP4 formats. Currently we can’t do this with Adobe Media Encoder.

  6. Allowing kineraw to be native like red raw files . Camera company kinefinity | raw codec | kineraw

Please allow us to edit kineraw natively inside adobe premiere . Right now it works inside fcpx and davinci
. only thing stopping me from buying the kinefinity mavo Lf is it’s raw capability’s that work inside adobe premiere.

  7. quicktime 7 support

I understand that you've removed Quicktime 7 support.

As someone who works in a post production house in Asia, there are several codecs (i.e. XDCAM HD422 & H.264) that would still be required in the technical specifications for deliveries to particular networks to be delivered in MOV.

This is disruptive to our processes, as we would rather keep our entire processes within Premiere but now we have to use other external software to output these.

Would it be possible to bring back the Quicktime support until you're completely sure it's obsolete in all regions of the world?

  8. mts format recognition

After updating to Premiere 12.1.0, it will no longer recognize .mts files from previous projects. Most (probably all) files it doesn't recognize were recorded with a Panasonic GH2.

  9. Support Op-Atom MXF files with Correct Timecode

Premiere pro is already able to load DNxHD Op-Atom MXF files, but it links audio to video for each instance of the file. For example; FILEA01, FILEA02, FILEA03, FILEA04, and FILE_V01 will all load into the project browser, and each will include 1 video track and 4 audio tracks. Honestly, we don't mind that, as it's helpful to have everything connect while editing.

The issue is that at the moment Premiere cannot read the correct timecode from Op-Atom MXF files. Perhaps there is some inherent difference in how Op-Atom and Op-1a files are created, but for…

  10. 12.0.1 importing issues

Videos files .MP4 and .MOV directly off Camera's - Gopro, DJI mavic pro and Sony a7 are importing as audio files only. This has never been an issue, and even on update 12.0.0 you could import these cameras.

Today is the second time I have updated Premiere Pro April 2018 update to find major issues (last time it was PNG's corrupting titles creating weird effects on videos.

I have wasted over 1 day and a half dealing with these issues and have had to re-create client work as the program is not backward compatible when rolling back to the last…

  11. Problems with DJI X7 Cinema dng Sequences

Premiere is not debayering cinema dng sequences captured with the DJI X7 properly. See attached still, and note the magenta cast and log-like color space. After Effects, photoshop, and Davinci Resolve are all rendering the image perfectly. This issue is with Premiere alone.

  12. Please add support for DNXHR 444 codec within Premiere.

Seems that DNxHR 444 files show incorrect video levels compared to both Resolve and VLC.

  17. mp4 ingest clips with non-stereo audio is broken

With all the new wizz-bang tools coming out to help use collaborate online as editors, there is a need for a lightweight proxy codec tuned for speedy streaming and quick transfers. H.264 is perfect for this as you can set the bitrate very low and get a very sensible SD Wide Proxy at something like ~2Mbps.

The problem is that Premiere chokes on generating proxies for anything with more than two audio channels. I have not yet found a workaround.

This works fine in Resolve, Handbrake, etc. I wish it worked in Premiere as well.

  18. Fix Phantom cine support

Support for Phantom Flex CINE files is poorly implemented, causing workflow issues-- the current implementation uses incorrect timecode interpretation and color science, causing images to look inconsistent across platforms and breaking the ability to conform via XML/EDL/AAF in finishing platforms like Baselight and Resolve

  19. Sony F65 Raw Footage not supported in Premiere 12.1.2 (Build 69). It only shows a white screen.

I recently updated Creative Cloud with Premiere 12.1.2. So, when importing any of my Sony F65 raw footage it appears just a white screen. It used to work in the last Premiere v.12.1.1. I hope it will be fixed in 12.1.3.

  20. f5/55 raw

Since 12.1.2 support for F5/F55 raw video has been broken. All I get with these clips is a white screen. It worked before 12.1.2.
