  1. Premiere 12.1.2 - X-OCN ST clips show up as black

    I have MXF clips from the Sony Venice recorded at 23.98 with the "F55X-OCNST38402160" video codec, which produce a black screen for video playback. The ISO was set to 500 on the camera. Nowhere does it say this format isn't supported by 12.1.2, only the XT format is listed as not working. Is there a patch codec I can download / install for 12.1.2 to get it to work or am I forced to upgrade Premiere?

  2. Mobile Ad Features for PPro and AE

    Advertising has changed. My colleagues and I work exclusively within mobile ad formats for Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, etc. I'd like to see sequence set ups for 1080:1920 and 1536:1920 and 1920x1920 ( 9:16 and 4:5 and 1:1 ) More importantly I'd really like to see a way to work exclusively and seamlessly with h.264 codec across Ae and PPro. We are not in cinema so we really dont' need large file size codecs with optimal resolution. Yes we can convert on export. But our world is an exclusively electronic/in the cloud world.   3. Please replace DPX support in Premier. It's gone after 12.0.0 and we can't go back to 12.0.0

    I often times receive DPX files directly from a high quality film scanner and need to convert to video for color correction, editing and creating content. Why was the support removed from Premier after 12.0.0 ? Will this ever be added back in to the newer versions? This is a HUGE issue now that I've discovered the real issue.

    Can we please get the Nikon .nef file supported for still images? We have Canon, Panasonic, and Sony native file support but not Nikon.

    I imported a .ts video format into my project, and after rendering the clip, started working on it. I made various cuts, moved around the audio and video, and then exported it.

    However, the exported video didn't match the edited clip on my timeline. Different clips ended up getting exported instead.

    The length of the clip remained the same, but certain shots that I didn't use ended up appearing in my exported video and replaced shots I did use.

  6. 480i@60 footage mistakenly seen as 30fps

    I capture gameplay footage from a PS2 using an AVerMedia Game Capture HD (C281). The video is 480i@60Hz

    Premiere Pro mistakenly recognises this as 29.97 rather than the correct 59.94

  7. Bug: Monochrome 16-bit TIFFs (RLE compressed) results in black image

    As the titles says, monochrome (1-channel) TIFFs in 16 bit depth don't render at all, I am forced to convert them all to RGB TIFFs for this to work and thus the file size balloons unnecessarily

  8. Something wrong with C300 Mark ii processing

    There's a lot of banding and artifacts when you bring in footage from the C300 Mark II footage. It took me awhile to notice it because it was so slight. When I bring my footage in Resolve the banding and artifacts are no longer there. What are you guys doing to C300 footage.

  9. Please Contact DJI Osmo Mobile 3 for their MIMO app Codec

    Please Contact DJI Osmo Mobile 3 and get their Codec for their MIMO App, PrPro will not play their video if it goes thru the MIMO app, it does however play Apple iPhone video without a problem.

    ps., please don't recommend HandBrack to transcode and fix the problem - too much time is wasted doing this, besides we're purist's and always want to use the original clips.

  10. Fix iPhone Xs Max footage

    My iPhone Xs Max footage plays back in Premiere Pro very gltichy and is unusable. Using a third party app such as "Hand Break" to make the frame rate constant instead of variable will make the footage not glitchy. However, it is a very time consuming process to do that for each video clip you want to use, and most of the time you are wokring with lots of video files.   11. Iphone XS footage glitchy and unusable. Fix bug!

    Footage from iPhone XS unusable and glitchy in premiere. When imported into timeline, it skips around and repeats different parts a clip. Footage is fine in other programs. Please fix the bug or I will cancel my subscription. Only purchased Premiere to edit my iPhone footage. Please correct the issue.

  12. Have better support for HEIC image filetypes.

    Apple is using HEIC now for images, using these in your project I have found tends to make it crash. There needs to be better support for HEIC images in the media library and sequence.

  13. Respect Color Metadata When Decoding Video Files

    Video files carry three pieces of color metadata (color primary, transfer function and matrix coefficients), Premiere Pro ignores all of them and decodes using BT.709 by default.

    Some cameras encode files using BT.601 matrix and when decoded incorrectly with BT.709 matrix, the color will be wrong.

    Emerging format such as Hybrid Log Gamma for HDR uses BT.2020 matrix, again when this is decoded using BT.709 matrix, the color will be wrong.

    Please respect the color metadata tags when decoding video files.

    PPro is recognizing my footage as Variable Frame Rate (see this in footage properties).

  15. Limited or Full Range Video Levels check boxes

    I have a problem with Adobe Premiere since the v13.1 update.

    It interprets video levels incorrectly, not being consistent with interpreting video as Limited Range 16-235 or Full Range 0-255, depending on the codec.

    This is making it impossible to do any reliable colour correction work with Lumetri and also is making it impossible to generate reliable DCPs as the video levels are way off.

    It will either add too much crush or flatten the image depending on the source. Sometimes affecting different clips differently depending on which codecs with which flags are in the timeline

  16. High quality x264 encoder

    Why there is no high quality H.264 encoder within Premiere/MediaEncoder?

    x264 provides much better quality at same or even lower bitrates.
    This would make it much easier for encoding to webservices without losing so much quality and using so much bandwidth.

    This is must if you are directly sharing files from ME to your website. Almost every proper videohosting site (Netflix, YouTube, Vimeo etc) encodes their H.264 complaint videos with x264

    If you are going to add this encoder, please make sure it actually is to specs according to H.264 standards.

  18. BUG: Adobe Premiere Pro 13.0.2 does NOT support ProRes 4444 +

    Version 13.0.2 added support for ProRes formats, including 4444. However, this version does not support ProRes 4444 with alpha or (millions+). My production facility uses multiple source files that have been encoded in this 4444+ format and have been used successfully in previous versions of Premiere Pro.

    This bug is preventing the roll out of Premiere Pro 2019 to the majority of editors in my facility.

  19. DNG RAW 3:1 and 4:1 support for codec

    Updating the Codec support for DNG Raw including support for 3:1 and 4:1 compressed version of Cinema DNG files. With the new Blackmagic Pocket 4K camera using these file This will soon be a deal breaker form many smaller video companies, independent film makers and individuals.

  20. Support for Adobe's own DNG format images from DJI Osmo Pocket

    DJI Osmo Pocket produces still images in Adobe DNG format, but Adobe Premiere Pro cannot use them. Please add support for Osmo Pocket DNG images. I can't send you a sample, you reject it as invalid file type!
