  1. When exporting sections of a sequence as TGA sequence the frame numbers are kept the file name.

When exporting a TGA sequence in batches from the same sequence, the filenames currently reset at Filename_0000.TGA. It makes sense to keep the name of the frames being exported instead of starting at 0000 again. Current workaround is to export batches into seperate folders and then batch rename each set.

  2. Ability to export multiple clip markers

There needs to be a way to export multiple clip markers at the same time to one csv similar to how timeline/sequence markers can be exported.

  3. sRGB gamma 2.1 or 2.2 EXPORT option for the web!

We really need an sRGB gamma 2.1 or 2.2 EXPORT option for the web! The gamma shift in desktop and web playback is washed out. After Effects offers this but not Premiere or Media Encoder. Yet so many of us need it today.

  4. If there is a proxy present before exporting, tell the User WHICH CLIP needs to be reconnected

Premiere Pro will warn the user if they attempt to export with proxies in the timeline (and no respective full resolution media for encoding).

That's a great feature. But instead of just stating that fact, it would be more useful for PPro to state WHICH CLIP(s) are missing Full Resolution media.

This sort of feature was added to pre-render items like the "Warp Stabilizer". Would love to see it included for Proxy content to make reconnection faster and easier.

  5. "error retrieving frame" when encoding to Prores 422

I receive this error in 13.1.2 anytime I export to Prores 422 - both within Premiere and Media Encoder. The result is exports with dropped/repeated frames - A dangerous and easy-to-miss outcome when delivering client work!

Exporting to Prores 4444 is my current workaround - I only get the errors with 422 (my export option of choice).

  6. Hello, I

Anyone else having multiple issues being able to export out of Premiere Pro. I just had a company replace a laptop because I thought it was getting overloaded, and comes to find out it is this software.

  7. Export is shifting video

Running into a bug where I am using Essential Graphics templates that were built in After Effects. I've been running into a bug on several different premiere projects and different sequences in each project where in the sequence the title plays fine, but once in the export settings, it shows the title has shifted. (See attachments) It also renders like this in the final output. I've also had this happen one other time where it was doing this in the sequence as well as in export. When I would adjust my position even 1 pixel, it would jump back into…

  8. Export Markers as .csv yields a TSV with a .csv extension

    To reproduce:

    1. Create a sequence with some markers.
    2. File > Export ... > Markers
    3. In the Export Markers dialog, choose File Type: Comma Separated Values (*.csv)
    4. Press OK.

Expected behavior: Premiere produces a CSV with a .csv extension.
Actual behavior: Premiere produces a TSV with a .csv extension.

Tested in 12.1.2 and 13.0.3 on Mac OS X.

Impact is low because most people who need a CSV can just rename the file and use the TSV instead (once they figure out what's happening) but come on. This is embarrassing.

  9. Option Button: Export to Last Location OR .prproj Location

I often move between several projects in the day, requiring me to export to various locations. To save time in repeatedly navigating the multi-leveled folder structure on my server, having a checkbox option to quickly select export to: "last location" or ".prproj location" would be great.

These checkbox option buttons could live under the "Output Name" field of the Export Settings pane.

  10. Bug: Project Manager is wrong about "resulting project size"

I export my projects with the settings in the image attached. It says the estimated size will be around 15GB. In reality, the project is 442GB when it's done being exported, almost half a terabyte. How can it be this wrong?

  11. Frame Padding for JPEG Sequences

Working at a visual effect house, one of my daily tasks is exporting shots as JPEG sequences. Most editing software's allow you to chose the starting frame on export.

    How I'd suggest this update:
I would want to see on the export window an option to input the frame start number that you can manually input. For example input 1017 it would look like this on export, 301130010.1017.jpg, 301130010.1018.jpg, etc.

As this is a feature implemented in after effects, I can't imagine why it can't be included in both Premiere Pro and Media Encoder.

  12. Batch export based on timeline marker in and out points.

With the rise of different media formats, certain projects need to be cut into segments and stay within a certain timeframe. An example of this would be snapchat stories which are limited to a minimum of 25 "tiles" at most being 20 seconds long. So for a 5 minute video you end up with 30+ different renders. It would be extremely useful to be able to mark on the timeline and export footage based on those markers.

Currently the only work around is creating subsequences or just manually setting in and out points then adding each one to media encoder.…

  13. [BUG] Premiere Crashes When Trying to change export location

This happens over half the time I export. I will go to change the export location and as soon as Windows Explorer opens Premiere crashes.

    This only happens in Premiere.

I'm running the latest update (13.1) on Windows 10 Pro build 17134.706. The computer is custom built.

  15. Program stall when changing render name

When going from "Vimeo 1080p", changing the output type or clicking to change the render name cause premiere pro cc to hang up and crash. Has been doing this for over a year, and hasn't been fixed.

  17. Exporting AAF with merged Clip renames Audiofiles

    Hello,

this is one massive problem that's a huge handicap for working together with the Sound Department.

When exporting an AAF from merged Clips, the original Audioclip name (e.g. T_31.wav) gets rewritten to something like "730a1070-9de4-xxxxx.wav"

There is no chance to reconform to the original Audiofiles with which the Sounddepartment is already working.

Could you make sure the Filenames stay as the original names.

That's really important for a professional workflow!

  18. Add the ability to set the poster frame for export to desktop.

So when the thumbnail for the video sits on your desktop, you see the desired frame - or at least the first frame.

  20. Multicam Audio Rendering = Slow Exports, Consumes Invisible Disk Space

I'm currently cutting a feature doc with lots of multi-cam footage and sync'd audio. Whenever I export a sequence, Media Encoder (same thing happens if I export directly from Premiere, btw), has to "render" thousands of audio clips. From what I gather, it is converting every piece of audio in every channel of every multi-cam sequence, regardless of whether all channels of the Multicam are used in the edit, and regardless of how much or how little of a given piece of audio are used in the edit. For some reason, this is much slower when the Multicam audio has…
