  1. export multiple sequences easily

It would be great if you could export multiple sequences without having to select them all in the project window. An "export sequences" option whereby you can check all the sequences you wish to export and then have them sent to Media Encoder.

  2. Highlight Name Only when Exporting

In previous versions when exporting media, when clicking to name the render file from export it would ONLY highlight the name and NOT the extension of the file. This made versioning much simpler to type in. Now it highlights the name AND extension of the filename requiring extra arrow keystrokes to only change the file name and not the extension. Please change this back to ONLY highlighting the filename.
    Thank you.

  3. Option to Automatically Run Warp Stabilizer During Export Process

When attempting to export to a movie, I've observed on numerous occasions, error messages regarding the warp stabilizer needing to analyze footage even after it's been done manually beforehand. I'm requesting a brut force flag that can be enabled by the user in the export menu, which when enabled will allow the export script to automatically do the needed analysis so that the render can complete without errors.

  4. P3 COLOR MANAGEMENT FOR MAC

Washed out colors when exporting on new macs due to a lack of P3 color management instead of the only rec 709, this is forcing me to move to Final Cut. When exporting is like just hoping colors are not too flat

  5. Adding more visible clip information when exporting video.

Must add more naming, time code, effects and treatment such as sizing and speed to exported reference movies. This is helpful data when submitting edit reference reels to color houses and audio post!

  6. Frozen picture on export in projects that include .png files

On multiple multicam projects, after exporting the sequence, sections that include .png files cause the video to freeze while audio plays normally. Media Encoder doesn't report any errors which is disturbing since these are 45min + projects and are hard to catch errors. Doesn't happen when I convert the .png's to .jpg instead.

  7. Save Export Frame output folder on a per-project basis

When i am in Project A and i click the Export Frame button, i want to export those frames to Folder A.

When i am in Project AB i want to export frames to Folder B.

Currently, Premiere Pro only has one global variable that remembers a single folder path for exporting frames. i think it would be better implemented if it remembered the output folder on a per-project basis.

  8. Speed up h264 and h265 encoding with NVENC Nvidia hardware

Nvidia has included NVENC on its GPU cards. Adobe Premiere uses Mercury engine to accelerate effects but does not utilise the power of NVENC to speed up the h264/265 encoding this encodes takes a very long time. It seems silly to have this feature there in the gpu and not take advantage of it. Times would speed up by a factor of 4 if it was used.

  9. Exports look way different than what we see in Premiere

Please find a way to have exports look the same as what we see in Premiere. Every time i export something it is way less saturated and contrasted than in Premiere (exporting in any format).
This means I have to re-export multiple times and guess my way to what I want it to look like by compensating for this.
This is such a HUGE issue, I cant believe it exists in a program that costs so much. PLEEEEEEEEASE fix this

  10. It needs to integrate with a dvd/ blue ray authoring tool like encore

Most people in my video business still want dvd and blue ray even though I offer on line hd to them. Please make a CC to produce disk like encore did.

  11. Open Captions not Appearing in Render or Export (but visible in the program panel when editing)

Open Captions don't render in the timeline when rendering in-out range, and don't render in exports even though they are working and visible in the program monitor panel when editing.

  13. Correct FPS on OMF export

I dont understand why OMFs are consistently exported as 29.97fps, while the sequence settings are set to something else, like 24fps?

  14. Please make the framerate field in the export window for H264/5 a numerical field, not a pulldown

With it being a pulldown, one can't select/match the framerate of one's sequence if it's a non-standard framerate. For example, a sequence for 8mm and Super8 film, at 16 and 18fps respectively, cannot be exported to their native framerate, thus dropping or doubling up frames. Other formats, such as Quicktime/ProRes can export to these framerates, and other applications can export H264/5 content to these framerates, so it's not a codec limitation either. This seems to just be a GUI limitation in Premiere/AME.

  16. Add a "set default export location" option

Users may want to always export to the same folder as their project, or their media, or any other standard location. We can set default folders for import/ingest, captured video and audio, etc, why not default export folders?!?

  17. STOP MERGE CLIPS FROM OBLITERATING METADATA!!

Would be good to have a warning that I'll lose all my sound metadata before syncing thousands of clips for a feature, then using Merge Clips to put them into bins, only to lose crucial data that makes said clips unusable for the sound department.

And there's nothing on the official Premiere Merge Clips page that such a loss will occur.

You actually don't even need to fix them actually, as I'll never use the Merge Clips functionality ever again, even if you do claim to fix them from losing my metadata.

Do you even read these posts unless they…

  19. Timecode Window effect error

    System - Mac 16,1
    Mac OS - 10.14.2
    Premiere 13.0.2 (Build 38)
    Timecode Window effect:
    Format- SMPTE

    Timecode Source- Media
    Time display- 24

Working at 24fps (not 23.976) the "Timecode Window" effect displays incorrect timecode. This can be compensated for by adding a 1 frame offset at the start. And drifts 1 frame every 41:16 frames. Requiring one to offset the timecode window setting every 41:16 frames to keep the timecode window accurate.
