  1. Ability to drag effects in Track Mixer from one slot to another or even swap slots. Also to duplicate from one track slot to another

Currently when you want to put an audio effect in a slot before a current effect you have to start again, loading that effect into a later slot and re-do the settings (or load a saved one). Hugely frustrating. If you could just move them from slot to slot, it would help enormously.

  2. Dialogue Generator to Repair Audio

We know Adobe is working on a system for generating dialogue/narration by listening to recorded audio and then reading new lines with text to speech. Imagine a system where instead of creating new lines, it would listen to a line that has severe audio issues and then synthesize the line with the same intonation/inflection/timing. If the audio problem is only over one area, you could just cross dissolve the clean part in.

  3. Fix audio playback media browser bug

When browsing the media browser, i double click a clip to select and play it. Sometimes I will play the clip and then it will not play the audio even though the clip has audio. This also happens randomly halfway through playing a clip and all of a sudden the audio cuts off but the video keeps playing. This is on windows 10.

  4. Manipulating Audio Effect Deletes Audio Waveforms - Needs Re-render or Bug Fix

This is similar to other posts but I felt its necessary to highlight the step-by-step instructions for the workflow that generates this issue.

    1) Audio waveforms are generated, visible, and responsive to timeline re-sizing and usage
    2) Change one parameter using "AUDynamics Processor.
    3) Come back to timeline to find waveforms missing.
    4) I could "Render Audio" - AND that has worked but I don't see why it should be necessary and would love an explanation or fix.

See PDF's for screen shots of the above steps.

  5. Premiere Pro CC 13.0.01 Corrupts Audio Files

Our agency has experience several instances in which audio files become corrupt on sequences. We have troubleshooted this with an Adobe technician, and the technician has no idea what is wrong.

  6. Skype audio stops working

Skype audio stops working when I'm using the latest update (13.0.1) for some reason. Very frustrating.

  7. Crackle when Mono, speed-adjusted audio used in multi-cam

IS THIS A BUG REPORT PAGE?! I'm not submitting an "idea".

WAV 44,100kHz audio adjusted to 100.04% speed, used in multi-cam sequence (to put-in-sync). Using that for an edit sequence. All stereo sources sound fine, but my mono sources have a static crackle to them.

This is new to me since upgrading to 2019, 13.0.1 (Build 13). Windows 10, 3rd-ish-gen i7 with 64GB RAM.

Restarted the app removed static. Exporting re-introduces static. The exported WAV always has the static. Then playing the Edit sequence includes static, UNTIL PPro is restarted, then static is gone.

Can't attach WAV file is bigger…

  9. Better sound velocity adjustment.

Premiere should have a high quality audio velocity adjustment as Audition.

  10. Adobe Premiere Pro 2020 We have four edit stations and all of us are having issues with "Shift G" or modify audio channels. We use Sony EX

We have four edit stations and all of us are having issues with "Shift G" or modify audio channels. We use Sony EX media. Usually, we can modify all clips in a bin so that rather than 4 mono channels, we have 3 stereo channels. We have presets that have worked for years. We have tried creating new presets, even new projects with the same frustrating results. Totally buggy. The same preset will work one time and not the other.

  11. Audio plug-ins scan doesn't work

I'm a music producer so I have a bunch of VSTs and Audio Unit plug-ins installed on my computer. I wanted to use them to process the audio in Premiere Pro, which is a supported feature, but when I ran the scan for audio plug-ins I first got an error and on subsequent tries (after restarting Premiere), the progress bar just didn't move from 0%. Is anyone else experiencing this?

  12. New Bug? no audio playback - timeline open in source monitor PP 14.3.2 Mac/Win

I'm having this issue with both Mac and Windows versions of 14.3.2 - when I open a timeline in my source monitor, there is no audio playback. Switching audio hardware, disabling input etc. doesn't help - in any other place of the open project the audio is played back (program timeline or single file in source monitor).

The feature to quickly edit cut- or splice in between source/record timeline ("avid-style") as I used to to with PP 13.1.5 is thereby basically gone in this newer version.

    Can anybody relate? Help?

  13. Possible bug

I hope someone can give me some answers because I'm absolutely baffled by this problem. After exporting a short film, certain parts of the sound dip in and out. The thing is, sometimes the film plays perfectly fine, with no sound dipping in and out, but other times the problem returns. My first thought was it was a problem with my laptop or the headphones I'm using but why then does it only affect this one film and why does the sound dip in and out in the exact same places when the problem occurs? I never have any other…
