  1. Allow Ambisonic Control of Mono file in Ambisonic Sequence

Currently if I add a mono file/track to a sequence that already has an ambisonic audio track, the mono file will be 'mixed' so that it appears aurally front and center. Could you please find a way to be able to have 'ambisonic control' of the mono track so that it can be located in any of the 360 areas?

    Thank you.

  2. Allow keyframe orientation in audio ducking

We need an option to have the keyframing with audio ducking to happen centred on a transition as opposed to always before. You end up with big dull spots of audio that I always have to correct by moving the keyframes to centered over the transition (start of speech etc). Also be good to have this option when applying multiple audio transitions. This is a very useful feature in avid.

  3. Improved pitch corrected audio for sped-up video

Currently, maintaining the pitch of the audio when speeding up a clip (say to 150%), is very poor and requires a round-trip to Audition to get any results worth using. Wistia can do a 1.5x playback with audio sounding very well within the player itself. I have a client who asks for this from time to time, and it would be a great time saver if Premiere could give me acceptable results.

  4. Adjust waveforms when using the default volume effect

When adjusting audio on a clip using the default volume effect, a line displayed on the clip is raised or lowered. But when adjusting the gain on a clip, the actual waveforms grow or shrink.

I'd like to see the waveforms also be adjusted by the Volume effect, because they are more useful at conveying how loud a clip is. Instead of using keyframes for audio adjustments, I normally use gain and cut/crossfade between clips so I can have accurate waveforms.

  5. Looping Record for ADR/voiceover synchronized to picture

Recording ADR/foley/voiceover is easiest if you can record using a LOOPING RECORD to record multiple takes in a repeating rhythm so the artist can anticipate the speech cadence. WORKFLOW: editor would click IN and OUT points to define the area to punch into (record), click the "Looping Record" icon in the interface, and then record multiple takes until they get it right. In Preferences the "Postroll" would be some adjustable duration (example: two seconds) that extends the duration of each loop with a non-recorded pause between takes. There would also be a "Countdown/Preroll" setting with two choices - either one-second…

  6. Speech Volume Leveling within Essential Sound Panel

Using the Essential Sound panel, an editor could select an option to "average" the decibel level of any clip labeled Dialogue, regardless of which track the clip was on.

For example, you could say "Make all clips designated Dialogue have their average volume set to -24db" which will make editing that much faster and easier.

This, along with automatically designating audio clips during ingest, would make the audio much more even when putting together a rough cut without having to go clip-by-clip in order to make the audio bearable while editing.

  7. Volume Sliders

I'd love to see independent Volume Sliders/Mute buttons for both Source and Program Monitors. These would affect playback only, and have no impact on exports or previews.

Often the original media is recorded much louder than it will be used in the sequence, so if we set speaker volume for the sequence, source clips blare out. if we set for Source, Program is too quiet.

  8. audio editing crash

Sliding a constant power transition in between two audio tracks causes crashing. This is an old problem that's apparently resurfaced. Please fix it again!

  9. Material at 0dbfs clips in embedded AAFs from Premiere

This happens most often with music files imported into Pro Tools; both clip gain and automation are disabled on import. Occurs with both compressed and uncompressed audio files. The clipping is embedded in the files created by Premiere during the AAF export.

  10. Editing Audio and Video with Beats and Bars or Tempo Map

Please consider including a Beats and Bars view for the timeline.

Having a tempo map to cut video to and also rearrange audio by beats and bars would be really helpful.

Either set the tempo manually with metronome (like Audition), or ability to import/export tempo tracks between Audition and Premiere.

  11. Bug: Multichannel audio plug-ins are fed from A1 output only

In a multichannel sequence the master track effects are only applied to audio routed via A1. Similarly plug-ins on adaptive tracks.

You can see this if you set up loudness radar on the master bus of a multichannel sequence and pan the track mixer to the right. No level will register.

  12. Audio cuts off during playback while editing GoPro Fusion 360 Videos. Please fix.

During playback in the timeline, the audio cuts out and the video continues after a few seconds. The machine I'm on is running a 1080 video card, 32g ram with a full 16g allocated to Premier. Absolutely no reason this should be happening.

  13. NEW DENOISER BUG

The new Denoiser effect is really useful :) but it's still leaving a little first part of the clip with noise :(

  14. Match EQ for clips

Have a match EQ option similar to match loudness either in Audio Effects or Essential Sound

  15. Record audio without deleting in/out

Recording audio: When hitting record by clicking the mic on a track the play-head jumps to zero when there are in and out points. This does not happen when there are no in and out points. Then I can put the play-head somewhere on the timeline and it starts recording from that point which is the wanted behavior. See explanation video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JS6WUIL4Upo

  16. dynamically change visual audio levels in premiere

In davinci resolve and FCPX, when you keyframe audio the levels will dynamically adjust to your keyframes. this makes it much easier to balance audio on the fly.

  17. ADR

ADR would be a lot easier if we could set in and out points for the voice over record feature.

We could arm the track in the timeline and play from before the in point.

Pre-roll beeps and pre- and post-roll visual cues would help too. So would muting the original audio when recording.

I made a mock up from a piece of edit stock footage:

  18. Audio Sync issues

A few patches ago, Adobe Premiere Pro CC was changed in a way that ideo, and audio are no longer grouped or linked. This is causing audio and video to not sync properly. Sometimes the audio plays a couple seconds after the video shows the action.

For example, a person says: "Good afternoon." You see the lips moving, but the voice is heard 2 or 5 seconds later.

When you start cutting pieces with the razor, things get chaotic as well. I have had to work on more than 20 videos with this problem. YouTube followers are ****** complaining my…
